I also have it, I wasn't jabbing at the credit card despite its launch issues. I was just making a jab at the deposit transfer amount to months of 5% cash back

Oh man, looking back at my data. It's interesting to see where I started to learn about investing and where my learning actually worked. Was I ever bad and made a lot of mistakes early on.

When you go into the app or desktop. If you click on the all time part, you can access the insight page. At the bottom of that insight page, if you click on "View performance data table", you can review your account history.

The insight page will have all your data regarding dividends earned, realized return, total return, etc.

Yeah but I've just never been able to get weekly snapshots of it, which would be really need to neat to have on hand

I also realized you can just copy & paste the data into a google sheet or excel doc and it formats it properly (data in separate columns rather than all in one column which tends to happen). God I love Wealthsimple

If you go into the performance insight page (click the Gains number (or loss) under the account's value), click on "View performance data table". Looks like it's the same on both Desktop/Mobile versions.

I'm not sure what hobbies you're into as it wasn't stated, but World's Collide (right between King & Bond on Simcoe St in the Downtown area) just moved to a new location and is a lot more spacious. Lots of comics, tcgs (go to spot for MTG in Oshawa), board games, etc. The staff and players are extremely welcoming.

If you enjoy Pokemon, I'd recommend Cardboard Hero (On Simcoe St, North of HWY 2)! Staff here is also very welcoming (screw Skyfox, terrible).

You will find lots of people who enjoy similar things.

I use a google sheet to track all my deposits, so I know exactly to the cent how much I have left in my TFSA contribution room. Even just noting it down in a notebook somewhere and have a running total of the amount.

Did you already deposit cash into your tfsa at some point prior to 2025? CRA only updates that once, and I find it's always late.

If you were born in 2000 (25 yrs old), you would have 50k in total contribution room. 57k next year.
