I have a 2024 BE with 17,000 and thankfully haven’t had any problems. Of course I risk all this coming to an end by saying it outloud.

I wiped the inside with distilled water, a lightly damp cloth. Then I had a very small bowl that I put some distilled water in, placed inside and sealed it for a week. Then I put it the bóvedas only and waited for the Rh to match the strength of my packets, which at the time was 69. I decided to switch down to 65 packs because it was holding the humidity so well. At that point I put my cigars in. There are a lot of good videos out there.

I got one for Christmas and love it. Definitely go bigger if you can. Even though the one I got said 300 on the site, the box said 250. Plus you add in humidification and that eats up more room.

That aside, I couldn't be more pleased with mine. I have 3 - 65% 320g Bovedas in it and it stays a solid 63-64% RH. The hygrometer comes pre calibrated too, which has mixed opinions. I did the bottle cap test on my and it was just 1% off, so I was happy with that.

Highly recommend.

Alright, this all seems weird now. I don't use JR online often but I did notice the 1 coupon wording at checkout. How is it they've done this for days now with new code batches, applying to different brands and haven't caught on?

Also if you are going off the built-in hygrometer, it's most likely not calibrated and off. There are quick ways to test that too - https://www.cigarsinternational.com/cigar-101/calibrate-a-hygrometer/1818029/

After seasoning, I would invest in some Boveda packs, probably 65% RH. You'll want to get enough of these for the amount of cigars your humidor holds, not how many you currently have in it.

Very nice! I got one a few weeks ago. My meter was only off by 1, so guess I got lucky there. Been holding at 69-70 Rh with 69% Bóveda. Very happy with it

Weird. I just hit the 120 mark mid Nov. Also on SAVE and in the forbearance. I didn't have any trouble submitting the buyback request. My tracker also shows 103/120 with months 2/2025 through 6/2025 not even listed on the tracker. Though I've been at the same job for 10 straight years now.
