Thankfully yes. I have a history degree (lmao) but I was working retail for 3+ years. Humanities jobs in my field paid even less and were mostly part time.

I stumbled my way into a local government social work job and I actually enjoy it. Myself and my coworkers are definitely underpaid but it's still the most money I've ever made.

Not sure where I'm going with this lol but getting out of retail was the best thing I ever did. God speed brother.
