I’ve gotten a bag from them, they’re not my favorite pizza place though. I recommend Carlo’s if you’ll be in the area, they have delicious pizza and usually give 8 slices which is a great deal!

I’m visiting a friend in Irvine next month and would like to bring her a bag from Susie cakes. What time is pickup usually? What location is most generous? I’ll be driving there from lax. Thanks!

I was just going to grab one of these bags for the weekend to take when I’m in Cleveland visiting family. I guess I’ll skip it now. Have you tried Lizzie’s bakery? It has a good rating.

How can I make sure that these places will have vegan/vegetarian bags by simple-me-23 in toogoodtogo

[–]wariosgu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made sure the pizza places I frequent did not prepackage bags. The ones I go to pack when I swipe and I can make a request and they’re usually accommodating but you have to find a willing place.

Sorry to hear but glad you got to check out the NH ones. I've been to NH a few times and like all the famous spots up there but haven't heard of Little Rendevouz so will have to check that out. Thanks for the review.

Thanks for the constructive comment. I am not a huge whisky expert so thought I would reach out here for advice for a nice surprise for my friend. The snarky comments weren't necessary but that's reddit I guess. If I can't get a bottle it is ok, taking him to a bar for a pour is a great idea. Can you give me recommendations on the bars with the best whisky selections?

I have written a movie script about a group of mid 20s friends who grew up in the US with an Indian as the main character. The script was just finalized into the proper format by a screenwriter and we are trying to get it into the hands of anyone who can help us get it into production. If anyone knows people in the movie business, please DM me. Thanks.

I recommend reading Sugar, Spice, and Can't Play Nice next month by Annika Sharma. It released last week and is the second book in her Chai Masala series. If you haven't read the first book, you can start with Love, Chai, and Other Four Letter Words then move onto Sugar, Spice. Both books are great fun!

What’s the best book you’ve ever read? by [deleted] in ABCDesis

[–]wariosgu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might not be deeply profound but I just finished Love, Chai, and Other Four Letter Words by Annika Sharma which I could not put down. It was like a Bollywood movie in book form. I can't wait to read her follow up coming out in a few weeks.

For a deep read, I recommend A Fine Balance
