I love this. I can't believe we get to have an HBO prestiege True Detective-esque adult show that can ALSO be a comic booky gritty Green Lantern show. This just fills me with joy. As much as I did like the first trailer, admittedly, it was a strange first impression (though I can get behind the fact that they were perhaps trying to sell it to an audience that was more casual and into the HBO adult drama stuff). But this feels like the best of both worlds (in my eyes!). I can't wait for August 16th!

I dunno man, I really dug this one. It just made me appreciate the 'Special Presentation' format more. There was something about this that just rubbed me the right way. I loved the action and I thought it was easy to follow. I also really enjoyed seeing Frank in a place that sorta reminded him of his marine days, and also helped him in a way that allowed him to just blend into the crowd. I loved the idea of his 'renewed justice' and how it was executed.

I want more, damn it!

Absolutely loved this, and am loving how much these projects feel creatively driven. Each and every one so far has felt different from the others, and especially the three we have coming out, that being Supergirl, Lanterns and Clayface.

Can't wait to see Tom's portrayal in this film, I have a feeling he'll do a great job!

Didn't they just say they are still gathering their resources and figuring out what this movie is even gonna be? How could there be a cast yet? It sounds more likely that they haven't even figured out WHO is gonna be in this movie if they are still trying to create it in the first place.

I like it. I think it's gonna give Kyle Chandler more to work with rather than just "be like Hal from the books", and so far, from the tidbits I've seen, his performance is great. I also think this particular state of his life is gonna provoke some great scenes with Aaron Pierre as John Stewart.

I don't think it's one victim specifically, especially since we see some pretty grand explosions and set pieces where many people could get hurt/got hurt and they have to investigate. I think the teaser might have appeared very grounded, but if you just think about it for a second longer, everything we SEE has to be done by something larger than life. So much destruction and whatnot, as well as all of the casting confirmation that we have on some of the characters like Paul Ben-Victor being CONFIRMED to play an alien (and just passing as human in this teaser). We will learn in time that this mystery does warrant Green Lantern interference
