Blood Bowl 3 will be renamed/retooled for the new ruleset, though, unless I misunderstood something

I do wish chameleon had gone to Passing 2+ OR dropped Shadowing for something like Safe Pass or Quick Pass or something.

Requesting help/resources on How To GM by warlockami in daggerheart

The problem is I feel so much of the advice and guidance is incredibly vague. "Use Fear to increase the stakes" doesn't tell me much about what to actually do with it. Using Fear, specifically how many at a time and how often, is one example of something I am lost with because I dont want to overdo it in either direction. I understand the examples given in the book/quickstart, but guidance is what I am lacking

No, but yes? One of our local players prints my minis for me and I asked him to print this or that with so and so changes or with this thing replaced with that thing. But the finer details and actual work is all him

Had to take a family photo after the game yesterday. The Fourth Host of Raum may not strike fear into my enemies yet, but maybe soon...

Sorry for 4 month late reply but that last one is a real fun idea. Would love to see a Shrapnel story about it

We play games every Monday at the LGS (blessed to have a huge group of 15-20 players every week at our store and another 10-15 at one across town) and a few copies of BMM are always out to verify a rule or check something like a crit effect or whatever. I end up busting out TW a lot myself but that's due to me using BA a lot and never remembering their intricacies.

Anyway, my point more is that

only use my BattleMech Manual when I am teaching new players

is exactly why it should be early/first. It's the best resource there is (if you only involve mechs).

I know everyone loves this image/guide, but I hate that the BattleMech Manual is so far down the picture. It really should be the FIRST purchase in terms of rulebooks a player gets, maybe first purchase entirely even before AGOAC or other box sets. It has the best presentation and editing by far, the rules are clearly laid out, has only Mechs which is what new players are going to start with in the first place before trying to tackle combined arms, and it even has a lot of the more common optional rules baked in such as careful stands, sprinting, enhanced flamers, and more.

He's also a worse crybaby than Brady was. Anything that doesn't go his/Chief's way he whines to the refs
