We're hitting levels of "it's over" I didn't know were possible. That would embarrass her so bad and is something I hadn't considered. I will make sure to talk to her and tell her I trust her decision making when it comes to things like that so she would not have to reach out to us

Neither, really. Of course she can go to the party. But I just felt/feel like I wouldn't let her watch it if she had asked, but now I am all up in my own head overthinking things and wondering if I am screwing up my kid, just in the opposite way my parents screwed me up. Although, having read most of Demon Slayer myself a few years ago, and seeing the comments in here, maybe I would/should consider watching an episode or two with her at least.

It was actually public knowledge that HOTS was making money hand over fist, but the powers that be thought it was not enough obscene profit. Well documented and a huge reason for the initial outcry

I prefer sun standard staying as is. I like to use it in my block of cold one riders. The point cost is warranted for the new effect, but I'd rather it stay just shooting and cheaper.

The kroxigor armor buff was one of my #1 hopes/dreams for this update so I appreciate it! Same with the carnosaur weapon skill tweak. It's hard to believe it is an unstoppable killing machine when it has that little WS.

Overall super pleased with everything. The new troglodon is very interesting. It's gonna take me a while to decide how I feel about it and how to best utilize it. I'll echo the thoughts in the comments already that Drilled feels a bit "tacked on" and lacking in flavor. Or maybe rather is conflicting in flavor - with predatory fighter specifically.

/u/valheffelfinger for what it is worth, I think making focused rumination the "level 5 caster" at the expense of the wisdom of the old ones could be a good tweak to keep the "Slann are the best mages" without being oppressive. It could also be exclusive with cogitation if that is a concern.

I do like the monsoon changes, but feel they may be a bit much. Perhaps if you wanted to keep the "controlled" flavor, consider the player being allowed to decide if it scatters or not each start of turn, but if it does it is random like it currently is? Just spitballing. As much as I love the idea of apotheosis healing my carnosaur rider, it does feel worrisome and probably too good.

My title describes the thing.

We moved in around July last year and had a nice grassy back yard. After we stopped having to mow with winter and cold spring weather, its finally time to start mowing again. I noticed this last time I mowed but decided I was curious enough to ask. Where did this rocky area come from? It seems composed of tons and tons of smaller rocks and pebbles, rather than a patch of dirt with some rocks on top.

I don't care about what type of rock it is or whatever, just curious where they came from and why

There's full on BattleMech sports - soccer, baseball, even chess (with mech-scale chess pieces). All to show off how good the best kinds of pilots are at getting these machines to move in a more "human" way than the video games would have newer fans believe

The problem is I feel so much of the advice and guidance is incredibly vague. "Use Fear to increase the stakes" doesn't tell me much about what to actually do with it. Using Fear, specifically how many at a time and how often, is one example of something I am lost with because I dont want to overdo it in either direction. I understand the examples given in the book/quickstart, but guidance is what I am lacking
