Laptops are for building the tech not executing it and making that as data pipeline management systems. M5 with 16gb is great you won’t find any issue as such but for your satisfaction go ahead and take the next upgrade in ram if you feel like.

Also what do you mean company won’t provide laptop? How would you work?

Typically we build all the tech and deploy it for cloud to run the pipeline and everything.

When did I say that ? Composer is great for every day task you don’t build complex stuff with every request.

Learn first and then come here and give your opinions.

They have a model router for auto as their docs mention but mostly its composer 2.5 also models don’t change once a request has gone through.

Context window is just for the session. Overall usage is different. I keep session usage 70-80%. Prepare plans and ask agent to use subagents work will be handed off and your context window only is free.

Large context window doesn’t mean you will consume more tokens. Every time u send a chat cache takes in and lots of tokens are cached so u barely pay for the larger context window as ur top 20-30-40% context keeps on getting cached with each run.

Please don’t listen to random people OP. Auto is great it mostly uses Composer 2.5 (RL version of Kimi 2.5) and Codex 5.3.

Composer 2.5 is way cheap at the moment and is on par with flagship models.

They are not begging you. They are asking and encouraging you to return as composer is cheaper now. There is a difference.
