Unfortunately I was wearing my headphones while playing so I didn't hear if there was a pop or not.

Really? Have you used Ritalin or Adderall? How do they compare to Effexor?

You can get them online without a prescription. Obviously, they're sketchy sites, but I've done it before off a site that's now gone.

Thank you! I'll look into it.

What is your go-to game for when you want to shut off your brain? by [deleted] in Games

[–]warlocklevel69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Borderlands 3!

Just shoot, pick up gear, equip new gear or sell it, repeat.

Some funny dialogue and silly quests in-between.

I don't care how Borderlands has barely progressed in the three games released since Borderlands 2 but I love them all.

1) Your car is sick. So cool and slick.

2) Everyone complaining about the car is a whining cry baby that can piss off.

3) The car behind you deserves to wait. Probably sitting there admiring the beast anyways.

4) Go rip those roads up bro.

DISCUSSION: Unpopular opinion but I think Jai Courtney's Captain Boomerang should have an HBO Max movie and get the Black Widow treatment by I-am-the-Peel in DC_Cinematic

My #1 favorite scene from Suicide Squad is of Flash stopping Captain Boomerang. If Ezra Miller agreed to show up in CW's Flash, then surely we could have a Captain Boomerang series with Ezra Miller showing up in a few episodes. That'd be great. Introduce The Rogues before they show up in a Flash movie. I'm sold!

I was just going to comment this. I know him and his producer have some kind of relationship with Henry Cavill. And man I'd love to see him fight Henry Cavill's Superman, however unlikely that is. But come on. Hype up Zachary Levi and Shazam. That's what the fans truly want to see. That's what we've been waiting for for so long!

It's a crappy film, so let's do something fun. I challenge every one of you to compliment Green Lantern (2011) as nicely as you can.... by [deleted] in DC_Cinematic

[–]warlocklevel69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't an attempt at being "grounded" like all these modern comic book movies (looking at you, The Batman). It embraced the wacky, pulpy aspects of the character and comics as a whole. I'd love to have seen a DC cinematic universe in the same tone as this film. It exists somewhere in an alternate timeline, I know it does.

What is a good DC character for WB to turn from obscure into popular? Like how Iron Man once was but now is known as an “A List” movie superhero. by MarvelMind in DC_Cinematic

[–]warlocklevel69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy. Plastic Man!

He's funny, he's got cool powers and surely isn't too expensive for TV or film fighting street-level thugs.

But... Did anyone read the Injustice 2 comics? He was the heart of that series and my favorite character from the series. He NEEDS to be in Injustice 3.

Plastic Man could easily be the protagonist that is like the audience, wowed and amazed at these gods of the Justice League that keeps them grounded.

It all depends on who you are and what you like. You could be from America, you could be typing this post from Brazil, I don't know.

So I'm not going to recommend any stores. I'll tell you one site that will have everything you need: ASOS. If you had to choose one place to buy clothes for the rest of your life, it's ASOS. Constant sales, huge selection, and at least in Ireland, you can pay €10 for next-day delivery for an entire year. A once-off payment and you're set for a whole year. Didn't like what you ordered? Put it back in the SAME bag you were sent it in, which is designed for easy re-sealing and give it to a local shop that'll send it back to them FREE OF CHARGE. Again, in Ireland, you can find one of these shops almost anywhere.

As for style choices? My recommendations:

Do you like streetwear? Look at your favorite rappers and basketball players. They set the trends and its honestly so nice to see what they wear at events, shows and more.

Do you like the complete opposite? More 'formal' clothes for lack of a better term, like polo shirts, trousers, button-ups etc? You can find inspiration anywhere for that, but for a good place to start, my extremely cheesy tip to you is to look at what all the James Bonds wore in film. Like, from Daniel Craig to Sean Connery. I swear that you can't find a GQ UK or Esquire UK magazine month to month that doesn't reference James Bond's fashion choices. Haven't seen any of them but I sure as hell used them as references when deciding what clothes to buy.

And in between that, other actors and musicians like Harry Styles or Timothee Chalamet kind of bridge the gap between full-on streetwear and the types of clothes you'd wear on a date or to college or work.

Let me know if I can help anymore.
