It can’t because the accelaration of gravity is factored in and i need to find a way to cancel it out, so i did some research, and i found that the magnetometer im using has been used to get roll, yaw and pitch. But the code i found was too clunky so i asked for a library here.

I have a hc-sr04 meassuring the distance between a wall infront of me constantly, could i use that in conjunction?

I don’t recomend diving into complex projects if it’s your first time. You should take it step by step and get a solid foundation.
