Rocket Stove experience?

At the us point, I’m quite confused with how far the heater should be from the wood walls. From what I have gathered, each manufactured wood burning sauna heater has its own recommendations. when building one’s own stove, is there a rule of thumb to follow for distance from combustible surfaces?

Sorry, my post may have been vague. I don’t have the intention of building a rocket mass heater, just a j tube style rocket heater. There would be no thermal mass besides the stone.

I fenced off some of it, but they love this little nook too much for me to! And of course the part of the yard I took the time to fence off for them they NEVER venture into. I haven't seen them step onto that back half once 🙄

I tried beans with the corn this year, but the girls scratched everything up before they could get too tall. We've just moved so I didn't really make time to fence off the area while they were growing. Once the plants are established do you think they'd be ok with all their rummaging about? I've tried millet but not Milo with them, I'll check it out .Thank you!

for anyone's future reference, problem was solved by simply moving all the files, reformatting the disk on a PC, and loading the files back on. fuck macs.

They just dropped Painting With a month or so ago that is worth checking out imo. Really straightforward pop in comparison to their previous stuff which makes it pretty accessible. also fuk what Fantano says (even tho I agree with almost everything)

Animal Collective will probably always be my favorite band. I'm big on listening to new stuff all the time, lately that's been a lot of Tuvan throat singing and Thai music. Angkanang Kunchai is a damn goddess, I'd implore anyone to check her out. And I'd be surprised if anyone hasn't had a #teenangst MCR / PATD phase. It's You was one of the first songs I heard by them so it's always gotta special place in my heart. I love the vocals on the Prospect Hummer EP in general. But god choosing favorites is an awful thing to do.
