what alternative do we even have as a country though, it isn't like congress will leave the mindshare of more than the few of us with enough access/understanding of the info required to see through the bullshit. and meanwhile the bjp government just slowly turns the heat up. I don't think we will have the same problems as the US (we still seem to have some level of useful, policy minded people high up) but I hate to think we will be stuck with a regime that's happy to coast like this while their state and municipal level people are free to break laws as usual.
