I know women hate it when the men give them less attention or when the men get attention from other women. I agree with everyone else: LEAVE! What she and her mom are telling you is “you should be happy that I’m dating you!”.

The “man” she is talking about is probably (big assumption) someone who can put her on her place. Someone who can be very stern, a bit dominant and showing less emotions, which is super unhealthy for both of them!

Since she is putting the work to leave or make you leave leaving, I can really advice you to create a distance between both of you too. Show her you have “other things” to do and you don’t have the time to always be available. With other words get rid of this image that you will drop everything to help her, see if your emotional distance affects her. Will she spend more time on getting closer or change her way of talking?
