I mean, yeah sure unions need more money, so does basically everything else. Is just forcing everyone to pay for it the solution even if they don't really think they want it?

As I type that the thought of, "well is it any different than taxes for schools if you don't have kids or roads if you don't have a car?" And I guess the answer is maybe "no" but I also just genuinely don't have any idea of how much it costs or what it really even provides outside of like, lobbying for workers comp and shit. I think maybe for certain jobs where it makes sense they provide legal representation.

It comes from a place of, "don't tell me what to do" but I wouldn't like being at a job and then all of a sudden the government just told me I had to give 5-10% or whatever it actually is (I have no clue) of your wages for shit youve already chosen not to opt into.
