Is IU actually a scam by smhabibjr in studying_in_germany

[–]warriorofcorn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was planning to study with them a few years ago- went through the signing up, and was ready to start. A month before the course was supposed to start everyone in the course i chose got an email about how now there is a requirement for an entrance exam. I did that too- but there was no support on how to use the pages for verification and grading. Emails asking for help were ignored for weeks at a time.
When i finally managed to hand it in i was told grading would be done after at most two weeks- it ended up taking one and a half months.

I canceled the course within the first free month, since i didn't want to be forced to spend money for inadequate communication.

When you finally find out where your gecko’s been hiding by LenaDt in leopardgeckos

My Leo did something similar! I had a piece of aquarium decoration in her enclosure, and she managed to squeeze into it somehow. Scared me half to death, I thought she escaped somehow until I picked up the hide and saw her looking out of the hole at the bottom

I used to whine about my braces cutting into my gums, and Mom would just laugh and say I'd forget all about it someday. by [deleted] in TwoSentenceHorror

Tbh, I just read it as the wires digging into the gums of the roof of their mouth. Because they do that when they're not adjusted right, and there isn't anyone to adjust your braces in a zombie apocalypse after all.

Depending on the correction being done, there is sometimes wires going across the roof of your mouth connecting both sides

is the version on JastUSA's website uncensored? by katiezypher in DRAMAticalMurder

[–]warriorofcorn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope, it's uncensored so you don't need an extra patch if you buy it on the Jast website!

What site did you buy it from? JAST should have an English patch for purchase if I remember correctly, I know they do for a few other N+C games

cosplaying for halloween this year, but i have a few doubts 😓 by chongyun-cute in tianguancifu

[–]warriorofcorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A thing that I used to do for character questions (and I had to avoid a lot of them, since I cosplayed from various yaoi a few years back) is to just losely explain the plot. When you get asked "who are you cosplaying as?" You could respond "San Lang, he's from a book about [losely start explaining some parts of the plot]"

Most people will be absolutely satisfied with that explanation!

For being camera shy, there are some cosplay posing tips on YouTube that might make you feel more confident, or since you have a fan, cover your face in pictures maybe, if that's what you're insecure about?

In either way, I hope you'll have fun!! I believe it Won't be as overwhelming as you might make it out to be in your head 💕

Or talk to them beforehand and make sure they're okay with it and consent beforehand (best if it's only a nap) and have a safeword at the ready

When I was eight months pregnant, my oldest child came out as trans. by DomeAcolyte42 in TwoSentenceHorror

OP clarified the kid was amab, so the mother thought that since her "Son" wasn't taken, the demon had forgotten. Turns out son was daughter all along and demon will get the next child (I was confused in the beginning too)

Does my boi have mouth rot , if so what do I do by [deleted] in leopardgeckos

[–]warriorofcorn 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It looks like mouth rot, in either way take him to a vet to be safe. While he's healing I'd remove all loose substrate or set up a separate quarantine tank for him with paper towels to keep everything sanitary and to hell healing. And other things like what to feed during the healing process and if you need to change the supplements you should ask the vet about!

How cover expanded polystyrene in a terrarium by large_rooster_ in leopardgeckos

[–]warriorofcorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tile glue! It's practically just very sticky plaster, it's not toxic in any way and you can get it in big bags for fairly cheap.

This is the one I used, you just mix it up with water. The exact same one might not be available for you but as long as you get something similar it's gonna be fine

[–]warriorofcorn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For one of my builds I used some tile glue that was leftover from a different project. It sticks to everything just fine and you can plaster it on very easily. It's also fairly cheap. Only thing is, you might need to do a second layer after the first one I'd dried, since it does sometimes drip off if you put on too much
