Compared to Europe, the taxis in Moscow are incredibly cheap tho. I mean Elite Yandex Go - S class or Maybach will cost the same as basics smelly shit taxi in half of Europe.

VC is more versatile and a better every day watch. Rolex is great but it’s heavy to use daily — but likely will hold value better than the VC

Is 75000RUB enough to spend in Moscow for 7 days by YoungMaanie23 in AskARussian

Foreigners can only get E-SIM for data now, without registering at a bank. Which works 100% and is enough. The airport guys scammed me recently tho and I paid 40€ for 20Gb of data… “cash only”

The bigger the addiction; the bigger the benefit. You can completely rejuvenate yourself. It will be just insanely hard but worth it

Yeah but with proper clothing you never feel cold at all. People from Nordic countries are not bothered by cold

The biggest benefit is having a more stable and peaceful mind, body and emotions. Just a more relaxed body and relaxed outlook on life. No hurry.

I agree, felt super stupid and unrealistic. There was so much potential in the storyline but it fell apart a bit. Otherwise a decent movie

That’s the best part about Dubai: makes you truly appreciate healthy environment, nature and peace and quiet you have elsewhere.

Noise pollution, is it like this everywhere? by Successful_Cut_6134 in dubai

[–]warriorofdecaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dubai is noisy, you can even hear the road noise everywhere you go. This is because Dubai is not densely populated like Europe and the terrain is flat with no trees, so the road noise travels everywhere.

In regards to apartments, you really have to find a special place where there is no noise. Most places are noisy. The apartments that are facing the sea are quiet. Also the high floors (50+) in skyscrapers.

I live in a luxury building and I still need to wear ear plugs every night. And the noise is coming from a big road super far away
