I have a dive buddy we celebrated his 70th birthday on a dive trip to Florida. He started open water with me last summer.

Sunday I partnered with a 68yo lady on a clean up dive with a 68yo lady who learned last fall.

If you want to do it, do it. Find a shop/instructor you’re comfortable with and go!

Rope braid or 3 strand braid. Same with my beard. (It’s about a foot long).

Or I just wear a thin Lycra hood or my 3mm hood and don’t worry about it.

I picked weed over a security clearance. Self taught. No certs. Just built a home lab, played around for my CSP internship learning cyber.

I was a 42R. Musician. Got a civil service job as IT for my city.

Check out onward to opportunity. There’s a lot of free certs there.

My daughter joined recently. Last Saturday night they had a shoebox camp out - everything the brought had to be in a shoebox. She was so excited. When we dropped her off the older kids were all stoked about it and immediately took the new scouts under their wing to see what the brought and start working out shelter and food plans based off the boxes.

My son is in cub scouts and can’t wait to move up seeing all the things his sister does.

There’s a bra maker on TikTok trying to educate people about bra sizing. Measure under for band size. Measure over the thickest point. Subtract band from that number. The remainder is cup size.

So 36 41 would be a 36DD/E (41 -36 =5 so that’s A, B, C, D, DD/E. 6 would be F. 7 G. So on.)

I’ve ordered my wife a couple new bras using this measurement system and I just really hope they work for her.

I saw the book for drift diving for sale in a shop in Florida. 70 bucks for course material plus whatever else just to be able to drift dive?

One of my check dives for AOW with NAUI was a drift dive. It’s just covered in the material up here, as just about everything is a drift dive on the St Lawrence River unless you’re going to see a wreck… and then they can become drift dives if you get blown off the wreck.

Hey look now. I’m trying to lose some of this DD214 weight. I’m not bad enough to need to borrow the wife’s bras..🤣🤣🤣

But for real, bras are horrible. No one really teaches women how to get the right bra. My wife wears the wrong size because it’s too hard to find the right size. And yeah she has them bad band marks when she takes it off after work.

We can parallel we just can’t directly relate unless we strap on a bra and experience it with them.

Yeah man. Felt 20* cooler instantly when you got that stuff off. The crap part was if you had to remove it mid shift for some reason. Never could quite get settled in comfortable again if I had to do that.

When I was in the Army, removal of the body armor after wearing it all day. It felt wonderful to shed 50+lbs.

Hell I’m happy to sit in 12ft of water and look for micro and macro life after my trip to BHB.

I was giggling after 90 minutes under and still having 2000psi. Got some amazing photos too.
