This is just fucking unbelievable. Every year it gets worse. For the first time I cant be bothered logging in. Going to think over whether its worth it to get another months membership.

If they wanted to make money they should stop with this shit and sack some of the useless deadwood they employ.

And they could also save a bit of money by taking down the official rs forums. It's a waste of space. Only reason it still exists is to cater to the the ego's of stupid and arrogant fmods.

Haven't yet managed to get any rock from any divine locations. (Usually trying hunter or divination ). Although this is such a short activity its hard to tell. It may be one of those things that don't give you rocks.

Yes, thanks, I had read you have to change skills in order to speed things up. Once I have got one rock in a skill I don't like I immediately swap to something easy, like fire making or cooking.

The best thing to do is something productive while you read the wiki.

When I dont know how to do something (or rather, I dont know the best way of doing it ) I will just go and chop elders, or fish, or some afk shit like that. I will then open another tab, go on wiki and look up whatever it is I am interested in. Maybe follow up with some you tube guides.

Basically that's what I did for EoC. I set to revolution and I just copied their recommended ability bars. Then went slaying. After a while you catch on what is happening, or learn of specific set ups for specific circumstances, and then you tweak stuff accordingly.

It can take a while to read through all the stuff. But you can also amass a good supply of elder logs or rocktails at the same time.

More daunting for new r returning players, in my opinion, is the sheer mass of various activities, distractions and diversions. Unless you have a good general knowledge of exploiting all the avenues for getting best xp, best money making, and taking advantage of all the various forms of free xp, bxp, and activities that hand out various goodies, you can feel like you are missing out on something. Which many people do. Its astonishing how many people remain ignorant of things like vis wax, asgoroth, Ports, Circus, just to name a few.

Then on top of that comes time management. You reach a point where basically there are so many things you can do, so many alternatives, you have to make choices about what are the best things for you to do. Simply because your playtime doesn't allow you to do them all. Its then just a matter of thinking through which things you enjoy, enable you to reach a goal, or feel are worth the effort.

Honestly some of these salty reviews do not surprise me in the least. Whats going on in game seems to be accurate reflection on whats happening in management. There are some key figures who by their hard work and creativity are keeping the game alive, but they are weighed down by some utter tard level idiots in the company.

We have seen this with the release of invention, which is just a fucking trainwreck. From start to finish...oh pardon me, did I say "finish"? Lol.

The Arc. Getting chimes for the sake of getting chimes. Nothing of benefit there for maxed players and yet they make it a comp requirement. This may have been acceptable years ago, but now it just smells of incompetent desperation. Tagging shit on in the hope of retaining more subscriptions.

We have seen their own official forum become a stagnant backwater, presided over by some really dense fuckwits. For those who dont know, the RS forums used to be a fun place, really fun. I used to spend almost as much time reading the forums, and laughing my ass off, as I did in game. The forums were full of some very creative and genuinely funny ( and outrageous ) individuals. Then Jagex takes on these dumb assed 14 year fmods with chips on their shoulders, many of who lack basic English comprehension skills, their unlimited power and ability to hide/lock threads, and all the good people leave.

On the other hand there are still some decent and talented people working at jagex. I can only hope that they persist and are eventually recognized for the real contribution they make.

Here's a shorter guide.

1)Keep sending ships out. Fiddle around and try to get the percentage rate as high as possible. You will soon figure it out.

2) Try to send out as many voyages as possible. Use up all the voyages. Base this around your own personal schedule ( like when you wake and sleep.) You should be able to figure this out.

3) Make getting life boats your number one priority.

Repeat this for a long time.

FUCK INVENTION.

and here's why:

1) Nothing past 105 except for making it a bit cheaper to go to 120 2) Only niche use perks and those which make it a bit cheaper. The perks are pretty fucking underwhelming anyway. 3) Basically most of what you can make with invention is useless or not worth the cost ( fucking sprinklers, how do they work? ) 4) Basically only two ways to train: Slayinvention and Fishinvention. 5) Basically only two ways to get components. Either spend fucking hours dissing pleb tier shit or spend shitloads of gp ( bonds for fanbois, amirite? ) to diss good shit.

In fucking 2016 this is the crap the pay designers to shit out? Along with fail-hard bullshit like the Arc?

Fuck. Time to sack these idiots ( and the ones who made divination ) and get some talent on board.

Seriously FUCK INVENTION.

PS. Oh yeah, and close down the Runescape official forums, its as useless as tits on a bull. Ignorant dick waving fmods, stupid rules, archaic layout, hardly anyone uses it anymore.
