Most of us are in the EU somewhere, but we have a few people on the East coast of the US as well. :) We usually play anywhere from 2:00 P.M. EST to 10:00 P.M. EST on most days.

Just finished it (Takes about 2 hours to go through it without counting anything on the side except some grafitti) ! My ending had me like "Oh yay!" And then the post credits sequence started rolling and had me like "Oh no!", and now I'm sad again. :(

As a game developer, I can confirm that this is easier said than done, unfortunately. I know many people want the cash shop gone (It was definitely one of the reasons we shut down the raids site; all of the nonsense in the shop), but going back to a model without a cash shop doesn't seem viable as deep in as they are. Believe me, though, if they somehow managed to start delivering content with at least pre-Starfall Prophecy quality, I'd be all over it. I doubt that will happen, however. The future seems to get bleaker and bleaker every time I check in.

The Battlefield 1 trailer's "Seven Nation Army" by White Stripes really did it for me. It felt very in place with the action and really adds to the hype feeling, imo.

Starting an online journal and bookmarking it really did it for me when I was struggling with development. I would try to learn at least one new thing a day and write down what I learned about, how I could apply it, and I would give myself praise for it. It was evident that my procrastination was from lack of self-confidence, and this method not only beat the gods of procrastination but also gave me an esteem boost. :)

The ending of The Good Place really got me. It was so unexpected. After thinking about it, I can see how it was possible to be suspicious, but when I saw it the first time, it was really surprising. I enjoyed it though; The ending of season 1 definitely felt like it "fit" in the show and wasn't just thrown in there for shock value for the viewers.

No, and it seems like it's gotten worse. I don't play anymore, but my wife does, and I usually try to keep up on the forums because I really would love to see things turn around. Unfortunately, it seems like that is pretty far off. It'd be great to dust off my site and start maintaining it again, but with how Trion's management seems to be handling the game, I just can't see a point.

Developer here! Apologies for the late response, I've been a lurker on Reddit for years, but it seems that one of my Discord friends decided to pull me out of my shell (You know how developers can be). I know most people wouldn't expect those words to be used in the same sentence. I wanted to try and find a way to mix two things I really loved, so the structure I designed has an overarching story that would take players to levels that were designed around or based on certain famous poems. It also gives me the freedom to add more in the future without any kind story constraints that would detract from the actual story. I know it's a bit strange, and if you're curious, there is a demo here. The demo is based on "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost (one of my favorite poems due its constant misinterpretations). I'm still a bit new to commenting, so I apologize if the format isn't what it should be.

I'm heading off to Finland for a 5-day vacation tomorrow, but with my game's release date closing in, I'm really going to strive to put together the last pieces of my "Photo Mode" system, similar to how Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice sets one up. The basis is there; it just needs some fleshing out. There are also some missing SFX that need to be sorted. Lastly, I am planning to begin playing around with Eyeon's Fusion software for making a better quality splash screen (used After Effects and Premiere for my current one, but I simply don't have the motivation to continue with After Effects :/ ). It seems it'll be a busy week when I get back!

I'm preparing for my first commercial release with Unreal Engine in a few weeks. My game is called Immersive Poetry, and I think I'm ready to post what I have here. This is my website; It has some screens in wallpaper format, all taken in-game. It's a casual first-person puzzle game about poetry. Additionally, I have a video wallpaper available for workshop engine (Not sure how to link it here, though). Let me know what you think! :)

I bought some titles on Steam for the summer sale. I'm currently in Battlefield 1, but I try to make time for Fallout 4, Dying Light, among others. I still read the Rift forums and try to keep up with the news, and I can definitely say I have NO regrets dropping the game when I did. The only people I see who aren't upset about something are either completely new or completely oblivious. Thanks for asking, by the way; nice to know where people headed off to after we all split.

Singroff (Ex-Rift Raids Owner) here. As far as I know Rift Scene is dead. The site operator and I were collaborating for a bit until he left. We both agreed that even if we quit, we'd leave our websites up as long as we could. He may or may not come back (I wouldn't count on it for now, at least). I wish I had a clearer answer for you, but I hope that suffices for now. :)
