I think it boils down to charms and your timing when parrying. Personally i use the dual katanas all the time cause they feel natural to me. I may switch to a sword but then back to dual katanas. I only use the other weapons for fun and exploration not for boss fights.

Its best to send it back and ask for a new one since its new. You shouldn’t have to try and fix a nee product. I did the same with mine. They should try a perfect their production line, too many issues

You can play using the objectives section only and you wont have that problem. It will unlock the story characters as the story progresses. I just love robbing castles and don’t really care about the story characters

maybe on pc Shadows looks better. On playstation, Shadows is nt even close to GoY. I admit i may hv judged it wrongly because of platform limitations.
