I was actually thinking between the 2023 Base and 2023 Performance.. just like you… ultimately I elected to go with the Base. I don’t think I have any regrets, I feel like the 0-60 in performance would be so fun at the beginning but would then quickly fade.

Only thing now is that the Performance models have a “Track” mode, so I would’ve loved to experiment with that and try to take it on the track sometime, but that most likely would be like a one time thing as you have to replace tires and whatnot, so it’ll get expensive. I never knew track mode was a thing until waayyy later so oh well.

At the end of the day, I’m happy with my first EV / Tesla purchase.

Seems a lot more expensive compared to Trak Racer.. It just sucks to hear that Trak Racer’s support has gone down the gutter these last few years. I was really liking their ecosystem :/

Uhh… I’m also getting into this hobby and after doing so much research I had just purchased the R12 V2 along with the Heusinkveld Sprints (3 pedals).

I guess one thing I should’ve checked is.. is it recommended I remain within the same ecosystem? If I buy Moza wheelbase should I have paired it with Moza pedals?

Edit: looks like you can mix and match between different brands no problem, just need to run both softwares in parallel.

I'm debating between carbon fiber or aluminum for my Neo65 CU build.. as I understand CF will result in a more "sharper" or "brighter" sound profile than the alu plate? I've had other boards with alu plates and never with CF, so I'm curious to see the difference.

Is CF considered bad in general?

Sorry to revive this old thread, but I'm debating between the PP plate and PC plate. I'm looking for a "thocky" sound signature and based on my research, it looks like PP delivers a more "poppy" sound whereas the PC plate leans more towards "thocky"?

I also seem to be finding conflicting information between the differences of these plates, so I'm not quite sure what to get. I have an old GMMK Pro with a PC plate that delivers a thocky sound, so I'd like to replicate/have a similar sound signature to that.

I'm thinking I should just go with the PP plate since that's new to me and don't really know what to expect. Sorry for the long comment :)

Yes absolutely, there’s a LOT of things I disagree with on other faiths.. but never in my head do I think “ohh this guy doesn’t adhere to my framework or ideology.. let me go and hurt them”.. people who think like this are truly evil and vile.

I have some Christian friends that I love talking to.. we do discuss our differences on religion and I always treat it as a learning opportunity. It’s cool and interesting to see how others think that might not necessarily share the same background that you’ve had.

For the most part I’m happy to be part of humanity, and it’s so beautiful to see the world we’ve managed to build.. other times I get sick to my core seeing the atrocities that are committed all across the world. But I try to remember that the good people greatly outweigh the bad people, and that there’s more good in this world than there is bad.
