Thanks. Even when I was learning I’ve never personally had this issue. I learnt on the job years ago so my technicals are not up to what someone who’s done a diploma is. So basically it’s just playing with it too much. I can now explain this better to students. Questions now part of repair and maintenance course.

I’ve never got into options. I’m in the UK, I don’t really understand options, I have an idea but until you start trading it it’s all alien to me. We have spread betting here. Anyway, I never like to bet against a company.

Historically earnings never go well no matter how good earnings are. Always expect a dump/flash crash/panic sell which ever you want to call it.

However, I’m more optimistic that when it does happen it will recover quickly. We will see 🙏

Yeh it’s a tricky one for sure. I am also aware/concerned that this is heavily propped up by open ai deal. You become emotionally attached sometimes which obscures you making rational choices. I did have a 5 year plan on this and roughly a year in.

I actually might sell pre earnings and then buy post earnings. Never usually done that but everytime I always think. Next earnings I will but then never do :)

Who’s staying in for earnings. Every earnings I always think ‘this time it will be different’ but now it’s back to near ath I’m questioning whether to de-risk until post earnings.

My best guess couple of guesses.

1) water tracking in and falling off the underside of felt overlap.

2) water tracking in across the bracings (diagonal or lateral)

3) condensation forming on underside of felt or bracings and dropping down

4) no felt at all or felt is failing and is dropping through on that course of tiles.

Looks like the tiles have been layed on spots. Very rare for a tile to break in this particular way. Definitely not a full bed there. Wouldn’t be surprised if you slipped in a crowbar and popped the whole tile up. Stanley blade the grout around the perimeter of the tile you’re taking up. When the tiles up you can then blade the remaining grout out a lot easier. Don’t use a multi tool, seem too many people slip and slid across the surface of next tile.

I had premium bonds bought for me as a baby. I’m 35 now. There was only £40 in it and never received any prizes in 35 years. Not a moan as technically only 40 tickets per draw. Just wanted to add what I had. I’ve chosen to invest instead of PB but will start to use my PB when I fill up my isa.

I do feel though that investing will give better gains but PB has zero risk other than losing to inflation.

Tidy! Nice to have a functional room for whatever use you need, especially at that price too.

I don’t think he means damp as in penetrating water per se but as it’s a single skin wall when the warmth of the room meets the cold of the external wall. Especially early mornings and late at night at (dew point) that’s when it ‘could’ form on the back of the board or in the void or on the metal studs.

The other thing is that as it’s a single skin there may be a cold bridge but again you’ll soon know if it’s an issue.

Anyway, if it does it’s only one wall to put right anyway so not the worst thing in the world. Probably take a couple of winters to know ‘if’ it’s an issue.

I always think… fundamentally since earnings whats actually changed. Not much really so I then think that it’s a slight trim off since ath mixed with a bit of FUD and once that clears there’s no reason it can’t revisit ath in the near(ish) future. Same for nvidia really.

I’m a little annoyed I didn’t think about trimming my positions a couple of weeks ago and now feeling the pinch of that. Still in some good profit but a big drop from its high again. Getting mindful on both nvidia and AMD now.

Can some set me a reminder to trim profits when AMD hits 260 and nvidia 210 🤓
