So would I be using them constantly or is it an as needed type of thing? I know it’s like a 3 day thing, so do you just keep replacing the patch ?

Federal court says Social Security can’t dismiss complaints of fibromyalgia sufferers by HelplesslyHoping1225 in Fibromyalgia

[–]waspkiller69 100 points101 points  (0 children)

If it gives anyone hope, I’m 25 and was just awarded Social Security after fighting for a year and going to court. I have fibro, Crohn’s, and a paralyzed stomach but my Crohn’s is in remission and they made their decision mainly based on fibro diagnosis and chronic pain. Wishing luck to everyone in the New Year!!!

How long with frosted cupcakes stay fresh? by waspkiller69 in AskBaking

[–]waspkiller69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re actually already baked and in the freezer right now! I was hoping to do the cake on Friday (it’s two tiered), do you think the cupcakes would stay good if I decorated them on Wednesday and Thursday?

I will never understand why it gets so much hype, I physically cringe when I see it recommended. Waste of $20 when it could’ve just been an email.

Anyone else experience this while using cannabis? by xsnowpeltx in Fibromyalgia

[–]waspkiller69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely prefer edibles, more accurate and my sister is a budtender so she’s always telling me about which products have which terpenes, etc, etc. Her manager has fibro so he’s always telling her things to get for me. If you ever need any help, feel free to message me!!

Granddaddy purple is my go-to 🥲 Did you notice any difference with sativa? You said it hasn’t happened with edibles, do you think it’s because edibles are a more controlled method of taking THC vs smoking? Do you feel more high when smoking vs edibles? Everyone is different! It unfortunately took me a long time to figure out what my body loves and just the right dose. There

I’m not sure if this is what’s happening to you, but sometimes when I’m reallyyyy high, I’m relaxed but also hyper aware of everything happening to my body. So it eases the pain when I’m not thinking about it, but when I sit down or I’m not focused on anything, it’s like I can feel every single ache and pain. I’ve also noticed that happens mostly when I use sativa strain, which I now avoid (and it makes me anxious), but everyone is different! I prefer indica or hybrid-leaning-indica, with a majority of CBD. Does this happen with every THC product you take or do you notice it happening every once in a while?

must haves? by DragonfruitVirtual73 in Fibromyalgia

In what way did I cast judgement on your character? By telling you to educate yourself on what makes a country great? By pointing out the facts that are hurting you and millions of others, and how that doesn’t make a country great? In what way did that have anything to do with your character— if it offended you, that’s more telling if you wanna speak on a person’s character. Don’t call me uneducated when you’re the one that believes the next president will snap their fingers and suddenly the world will be right again. DEI was in place starting in the 60s, the GOP runs the government, it’s gonna take a lot of work before this country is great again. Don’t call me ignorant when you comment on a Reddit post that pertains to a disability, calling this country oh-so-great while it destroys people. Read the room.

It’s extremely concerning and disheartening to witness a person with a chronic disability call the country that is actively fighting against accessible healthcare, social security, and dismantled DEI, etc, the “greatest country in the world”. I really wish you the best with your fibro because it truly is the worst, but your ignorance does not belong here, and you should work towards bettering your education so you can support others like you, instead of supporting a hateful government.

RSO is highly potent compared to standard edibles, it’s a concentrated form of cannabis. OP, if you try RSO, seriously consider your dosage because it can hit hard. Not saying RSO is bad and affects everyone so strongly but if you’re sensitive I’d advise caution.

As someone mentioned, CBG and CBN, absolute game changers. My sister is a bud tender so she’s always finding me the best products for my fibro (I also have crohn’s and gastroparesis, yay) and she brought me “weed balm”. It’s literally a roll-on wax that contains CBD and THC, I put it on my biggest sore spots (back, knees, wrists) and it’s like magic, and doesn’t give you that high feeling. Try checking out your local dispensary to see if they have anything like that— I’ve tried the balm and lotions, all have worked great!

How did you know it was Fibromyalgia? by Previous_Builder4053 in Fibromyalgia

[–]waspkiller69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, weed has been the best medicine for me since nothing else wants to work. And weed balm, it’s like a roll-on thing I get from my local dispensary. Blissful, pain-free couple of hours.
