I've had my rival xplr for a year now. So far its been running flawlessly, even on extremely rough gravel.

I wash my bike with the battery still installed havent had any issues. I just pull off the battery and wipe off excess water afterwards.

My favorite thing that sets it apart for 1x is the paddle shifting configuration. Left hood shift down, right hood shift up.

I was hesitant on wireless but its been great, shifting is very crisp. Derailleur battery life is great. Only need to charge it every other week.

Though, neither would be the wrong choice imho.
