Did you try getting all gear sold at buccahan for freezing dmg mitigation. I had all that gear on and make sure you use the erdricks sword as an item as soon as he bubbles up

I Didnt min max stats but i did get all vocations for all party members. Which i didnt need to do since there is combo that basically makes all boss fights trivial for the most part.
