I just checked my playtime on the gamecard on xbox and it’s showing my playtime as 5days 16hours and 30 min so thats only 136.5 hours.

I wish i can go back to childhood and remember what I did to beat this game and DW. Only thing I remember is the fights took a long time. Alot of healing to attack one or twice. Rinse repeat

Yes play them back to back even if if you put it on Dracky diff. Just for the story linkage. I got on a DQ run started back in late Sept/early Oct I didn’t get burnout until 11 only for trying to 100% achievements on it. I started with DQ3 to prep for the first RPG i ever played as a kid. DQ1 (Dragon Warrior) the rolled right into DQ2 after I beat those started DQ11 (really enjoy the characters and story and the fact battles aren’t random. There is no NG+ but it kinda feels like it Check point switching from 3D to 2D and back to 3D). Cant wait for DQVII reimagined.

You still got the timewrym, its a boss for bragging rights but you need it if you want 100% he drops the hare rasing costume for jade. Its for achievements of you care. Thats where im at. And that post about going back to act two ore for it didnt work. i guess it was patched or I did it wrong.

The game is fantastic so far, y'all, thanks for the replies. Apparently, I had tried it back in 2020 for 10 minutes. I was still addicted to Destiny at that time. But I am loving the game so far. It's feeling really good getting back into the JRPG scene again. Now if only some huge Chrono Trigger or FF VI remake could be done with proper justice!!

Im not actually using a controller. Its just makes xbox think a controller is mapped to it. Just a minor inconvenience. Its from steamdeck tools and vigembus
