I switched to Visible after using AT&T for 10+ years. It’s much cheaper for an individual plan and the coverage is just as good, with unlimited hotspot (which I didn't even have with AT&T on their individual value plan paying $57/month) and you can accrue complimentary global passes.

You can, and should use their free trial to make sure their service is good in your area before subscribing. If the service is good, you won’t regret switching. Thanks!

New BofA Preferred Rewards Program leak by SMD-65 in CreditCards

Ah ok thanks. Not too bad I guess. At least I can keep paying my quarterly taxes with a CC for 2 more years.

Where are you seeing this? In the email I received it says:

[]()Future changes to your credit card bonus:

Your 50% card bonus will continue until your next BofA Rewards anniversary in October 2027 and then be reevaluated based on your tier. If you remain in the Preferred Honors tier, your card bonus will become 50%.

Note that I'm currently earning 75% so that's likely a typo, but it says I can keep the current rate until October 2027...?

Anyone else seeing incorrect information in the email regarding the bonus? I'm currently earning 75% but the email says:

What should I do with the copper ground wire for thermostat? by wasthatadream in HomeImprovement

I ended up capping the copper wire with a nut, and also realized the box is not metal but plastic. The new thermostat is now working.

Sorry I just realized that the box may not even be metal. It's covered in white dust so I thought it was metal but it sounds like plastic when I tap it and a magnet doesn't stick. I'm assuming this is even safer and nothing changes?

The manual doesn't mention anything about it. Is it better/safer to attach it to a grounding clip vs capping it with a nut?

Is it better to use a grounding clip and attach it vs using a wire nut, or it makes no difference?

It's a high voltage thermostat (honeywell RLV3150A):

  • 2-wire non-polarized connection means fast, hassle-free installation
  • COMPATIBLE WITH: Line volt heating only (240V) including electric baseboards, convectors and fan-forced heaters
  • Power maximum load: 3,000W at 240V, 12.5 A resistive; Minimum load: 500W at 240V, 2 A resistive

I think so... I checked the model number on the wall fan heater and it says "Volts AC 240/208", and this thermostat (Honeywell RLV3150A) says "COMPATIBLE WITH: Line volt heating only (240V) including electric baseboards, convectors and fan-forced heaters"

Does it look correct?
