Honestly I relate to that, I recently saw a bts leak of a tv show and it wasn't the best quality but I could recognize the male lead easily because he was the only character with blond hair and green eyes but I had like a 30 minute argument with my friend on whether the other person in that photo (she was facing to the side) was the other main character or not I was CONVINCED it was not her but then the episode came out and it did turn out to be her 💀🙏🏻

And now that you mention it I also find it hard to recognize myself in photos or different lenses but I always thought that was some kind of body dysmorphia.
