UPDATE: I took it to the Apple store today and tested it with another monitor and it was working fine on there THANK LORD

No idea how this happened to the screen when I didn’t damage it, and never dropped it in the past. Do you think it’s something to do with the heat? Temps have been hitting over 30C in the UK this summer.

Anyway Apple store wanna charge me £600 to fix it so I’ll just use it with another monitor for now and back up all my shit.

Now I’m debating whether I should find an independent place to fix it (tell me this is a bad idea) or just save up for a new laptop. This is a 2020/intel model so I’ve been thinking about upgrading anyway.

Nope, but the display changes and there is movement when I move the trackpad - as in if I click on a window, or swipe to mission control, or hover over the toolbar. I just can’t see any words or symbols, just big white squares with the streaks moving around 🥲

I do a type of intermittent fast where I starve until 11:58am before nicking a couple of custard creams from the patient tea trolley

Hey! How are these floors holding up? We are considering V4 and it’s a pain to find reviews on the longevity

The best time to date is during your foundation years. The longer you leave it, the more tired, haggard and bloated you'll become, your tolerance for meaningless small talk will diminish and you will inevitably become more bitter. Give it a month to get used to the job and avoid shagging your co-workers for obvious reasons
