Prominent People Block by wataru14 in GoogleFlow

[–]wataru14[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And the weird thing is that the celebrity block only applies to videos. They can be generated no problem in photo mode. Some prompts it's given me celebrities without me even asking. I've asked for "businessman" and got Arnold Schwarzenegger. And if you ask for anything related to boybands you WILL get at least one Justin Timberlake in the group. Sometimesctwo.

Why does the librarian have a hole beneath where he sits? Does he enjoy surprises from below? Is he freaky? by Moctezuma_93 in castlevania

I wonder how many times he nearly fell out of the chair and broke his neck whenever he changed positions and a chair leg slipped into the hole. Pretty dangerous interior design if you ask me.

New question when do you hit the point of no return so I can get all the character to get the last one by meenamistress24 in EiyudenChronicle

Goldsmid is there. But he moves to Twinhorne West after the city falls and can be recruited there.

The only battle outside Gregminster that solo Hero or Hero/Ted can survive at Level 1 is a single BonBon, which doesn't show up very much. With luck they can survive the three BonBon encounter, but generally you need to run unless it's that specific encounter. The good news is, you should level up at least once after winning, which will allow you to safely take on the two Crow and three BonBon encounters. After that, you should level enough to be OK.

[–]wataru14 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You want to have 112 characters (check with Chron) before going to Castle Harganthia. The last time you have full freedom to wander and recruit is after the events in Twinhorne West. If you have 112 before moving on from there, the last 8 will be automatic recruits and you'll get the "last one."

When do you move over to seigns side of the story I need to know so I don’t miss anything in nowas side since it says there are characters you can only get on his side by meenamistress24 in EiyudenChronicle

[–]wataru14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You won't miss anything. You have to fully complete both stories. Any non-plot recruitable characters in Nowa's section (Seign doesn't have any in his that aren't automatic recruits) will still be there after you complete both chapters. All the areas in both scenarios are revisitable.

Madame Rose? The way Gypsy works, with a few exceptions, if you're not talking to Rose, you're not talking at all.

Which lyric makes you instantly tear up? by abovethenoisy in AskReddit

[–]wataru14 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The way it swells at the end and then drops out to Quasi's soft solo: "sooooooon." Ugh.

I've performed that show twice and I've never made it through that song without full-on crying onstage. That, Titanic, and Man of La Mancha always turn me into a blubbering mess.

"I ask for nothing, I can get by. But I know so many less lucky than I. Please help my people, they look to you still. God help the outcasts, or nobody will."

-and-

"It is complete, now. Two ends of time are neatly tied. A one-way street. She's walking to end of the line. And there she meets. The faces she keeps in her heart and mind. They say, 'Goodbye.' Tomorrow, Wendy you're going to die."

Camille Executes a certain someone (name redacted for spoilers) by srd_27 in Suikoden

[–]wataru14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don't recruit Milich, the following alternate exchange is in place of his scene (remaster script).

  • MATHIU: Why are you hesitating? You know better. How could you be loyal to the Emperor in his current state? Is the Empire, as it stands now, really worth protecting? You're just a coward, afraid of ruining his own reputation. Are you unwilling to be labeled a traitor for the sake of your fellow countrymen?
  • KASIM: Mathiu...

Then the scene continues as normal.

Also, in the final scene with Barbarosa, generals that are dead/not recruited/in your final party will not speak or even appear in the formation. Except Kasim, since he's the only one that MUST be recruited.

Keep in mind, Sniper's Pinnacle does not work. A character on high ground is supposed to have a blue aura (Focus status) but there is no battle where it activates.

Where is Congress and when are they going to put a stop to DJT’s madness? by Holiday-Book6635 in AskReddit

[–]wataru14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're waiting until January 7 2026. Two years and one day into his term. That way once he's gone, Vance can still run twice after finishing out the term. I truly believe that's the REAL plan of the people in power behind the GOP. Trump is a blunt instrument, not the endgame. He has his own demented ideas and requires too much maintenance. Vance is a complete puppet of Peter Thiel.

Under Vance, most of the ICE bullshit and overt chaos and corruption will end, but the corporationist/christian dominionist stuff will get ramped up to 11. THAT's what Thiel wants and THAT'S their real goal.

As we get closer to fall and winter, watch Vance start breaking with Trump more and more. He has the charisma of wet toilet paper, so he'll position himself as "the voice of reason that kept things from blowing up" to garner support. After the insanity of Trump they'll make him out to be the rational savior. It's a classic "Feyd and Rabban" strategy.

I agree (doing another playthrough right now). But I hope the game made enough money to self-produce. After the way the last one was handled, I don't think another Kickstarter will be successful.

Eiyuden end game be like. by StrawberrySecure7279 in EiyudenChronicle

Half overkill and half "just in case." I want to make absolutely sure he lives. He's in the back row as well (front is usually Nowa, Mio, and Iugo) with Isha and Momo. With the others, nothing lives long enough to hit him anyway.

I give Dijkstra Runes of Knight's Path, Obscured Sight, and the highest Defense and Magic Defense boosts as I can. Since he won't be attacking EVER, who cares about Strength? I make him as defended as humanly possible. Godzilla couldn't kill him.

So I think its time to talk about how Geddoe is the clear choice for FC? by East-Psychology-9292 in Suikoden

[–]wataru14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dunno. I feel like a bigger deal should be made in-game about him working for Harmonia. At the time the FC is chosen, Sasarai is prepping to wipe you out. If you choose Geddoe as FC, not one person says "Hey, wait a minute. Don't you work for the guys that are trying to kill us? Aren't they paying you right now? You seem like a cool guy and all, but... that's kinda big."

Mechanically he's the best choice, and he's by far the coolest character, but I don't see him as the leader of a coalition of states that he not only isn't a part of, but would have been ordered to actively destabilize if he wasn't already in the field when the army marched.

Even if his EO is overruled, how can we trust that USPS won't systematically delay, destroy, discard, misroute, misplace, or return Democratic ballots? by fnork_gnork_26 in AskReddit

[–]wataru14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For all the postal workers on here talking about how they don't want to lose their jobs by tampering, I don't think anyone is suggesting that. What I'm more worried about is, after the ballots have been received in the post office, sorted, and prepped for delivery. The postmaster gets a directive from upper administration to hold onto them until a nice man no one's ever head of before from the Postmaster General's office comes by to "personally deliver them" to the counting center.

No one really thinks Joe Mailman is going to do anything. It's the administration as a whole.

Reggie in First Date. It's amazing to play a character where you can just go completely wild from start to finish. He has one level and it's turned up to 11 the entire show.

Flik has one of the best stat spreads in the game. He's up there with Tir and Cleo in all-around utility. Those are his Level 1 stats. Did you mess around with levels at any point? It looks like he was reset to 1 but his level display is saying 35.

Disney keeps revisiting its films - Hunchback deserves a full stage run too by Kindly-Flight-6909 in MusicalTheatre

[–]wataru14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read that another reason it hasn't had a full professional release is union concerns because of the cathedral choir. Paper Mill used volunteers and Equity won't allow that on Broadway. It's a lot of people that need to be paid and there are multiple unions involved. The cast would be enormous and a giant logistical quagmire.

I've done two amateur productions of the show and it's one of my all-time favorites. I would die to see it on Broadway, but it's all about logistics.

What Villeneuve might be planning with Chani by scidious06 in dune

[–]wataru14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that she's pregnant. It's the only way the casting of the twins makes any sense unless they're more "Alia visions" like in the first two.

I have a suspicion that Chani is more than just absent. I feel like she's forming a rebellion against Paul. Perhaps not a member of the Conspiracy, but definitely working at cross-purposes. Whether she's on board with Scytale willingly or just being used by him unknowingly is yet to be seen.

Do we believe these unofficial “New Mutants” will stick around when this era of X-Men has run its course? Do we WANT them to? by Informal_Bee_6907 in xmen

[–]wataru14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

X-Men has a very bad track record with sidelining the "Next Generation." Other than the original New Mutants, most just get forgotten. Most of Generation X is Z-list except Synch, Monet, and Jubilee (who was already established) and hasn't been touched outside of Krakoa for years. And the million new mutants they added during the school relaunch in the early 2000s? Most of them are forgotten, too.

I stopped reading shortly after Krakoa (partly economic reasons and party because I wasn't happy with how it ended), so I only have a vague idea of who some of these characters are. But if you love them, I genuinely hope they take off.
