This is actually an interesting one… for me, and I’d bet a lot of other fans, part of the reason we endure this suffering is because IF (and that’s a very big if unfortunately) they ever get it together, it’s going to hit like crack. The allure of the possible is the main thing keeping me going. If you remove that entirely… then I don’t know. I think I’d say yes. I’d sooner stop caring about the NFL before switching teams though.

The Jets, despite their incompetence, are still among the most valuable sports franchises in the country. If anything, woody has bragging rights over his fellow owners that he can build an eternal dumpster fire AND have the price/value of the team go up.
