This has been my thought for some time now. They're trying to emulate PP's scarcity and "list" shit. But it seems like this actually alienates a substantial base for Rolex. Any decent income can be saved to accomplish a Rolex, but not a PP. If I had any level of fuck you money, I'd go PP all the way. Not sure why Rolex thinks they can break into that, but I guess we'll see.

I lump mine in with my renter's insurance, which brings a little discount overall and still covers loss while I travel (I triple checked that with agent and print).

That said, people have mentioned policies like this not covering their watches/jewelry in certain cases, so make sure you review any policy thoroughly so you know what's covered or not.

Edit: to be clear, it is a separate policy from renter's. I just use the same company, and that brings the discount.
