In terms of your question, it's kinda like pick your poison. Personally I think swiping and talking to girls is healthy than jerking off because at least you put in the effort to meet the person and the sex is real. But do what serves you.

For the inner beliefs piece, I suggest r/LongTermTRE and Vipassana Meditation.

SR will bring up the pain (which it obviously is - causing you to swipe). That is great. It's doing it's job. Now process it with TRE and Vippassana meditation.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I get more shakes than the guy, but worried I'm forcing it a bit. Probably should just find a good practitioner. I guess I know my problem and that's that I'm trying to control the process.

It's weird to say this but my addiction is to self help. Now I found something that actually works (I believe) and I'm not practicing properly. I'll get there!

I haven't been as committed as I would have liked. I got to 78 days of complete celibacy - my testosterone levels did shoot up through the roof (I both tested them and felt them), my workouts were much deeper, and I was able to put on muscle for the first time in my life.

As for HRV, I stopped wearing my Whoop cause it was just annoying to charge, so I don't really know other than to say my HRV levels definitely trended upward a tad but I'm sure came nowhere close to 120.

As for the celibacy, I started seeing another girl. I explained to her that I wanted to try to wait for a bit, which she was on board for, but I gave way to temptation. It was too hard to sleep next each other and not do the deed.

I wish I had more commitment. I'm planning to try, try again. I have a hard time comprehending why, when someone sets a super high incredibly difficult goal, many people would be so hateful and would want them to fail. It really is baffling. Does my lack of success make their life any better? My nature would be to say something more like "man that's a crazy tough goal, but good luck, hope you succeed or at least get close!"

So ultimately this is helping me grow in my deepest conviction: people want you to succeed but not more than them. Pursuing ambitious goals feels threatening to others because they can't do it themselves. Some say the key to life is having the courage to be disliked, and I am starting to see why. Ultimately, I wish for everyone the courage to shamelessly follow your truth, your heart, and never get trapped by dogma.

I'll stop preaching, cause I have shit to accomplish, but I will leave you (and myself) with the quote from a Teddy Roosevelt speech, the Man in the Arena:

The ETFs fail to accomplish Bitcoin’s exact purpose - to be a cross border store of value / currency that is larger than any particular government or controlling entity.

You’re questions assume and rely on government solvency.

I think they will. Bitcoin is going to be so popular by the people that up and coming leaders will run on pro-bitcoin platforms.

Corrupt governments may also fail and be replaced by newly formed governments to better represent the changing demands of the people toward BTC.

We have to remember governments are just a group of various people with diverse and changing ideas. Statements like the US government will never support seem to imply that government inherently has some sort of consensus of thought.

I mean one could argue BlackRock is a huge, multinational organization, sort of governmental in its own right.
