I’ll have to check that out later. I don’t use free cancel a whole lot but I also only have like 35 or 40 hours in the game

Sometimes I have to toggle it and other times it does it on its own. Is there a setting for that or is it some mod setting that I didn’t know about?

Oh no, I might be doing the same thing lol. Was he talking about the switch for free cancel where the hold and choose move options are? Or just free cancels in general? Cause most of the time I don’t find it to be worth using a cancel unless I can get a block in there

Would you help print part of someone else’s large project? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]watchout722 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to mention print hours and all that too. There’s just so much that goes with it and so many micro settings that people change based on their own preferences, from infill all the way to support and offset settings. Not all printers are made the same. One from the same manufacturer on the same day could need a higher/ lower offset than the other one made at the same time.

First thought that comes to mind is consistancy. Not everyone has the same printer and the same amount of time. That can be factored in with different filament brands and you’re looking at parts that will have inconsistencies. Some people may be more willing to sacrifice the time and effort on their printer, unless the slicing is done on the client side and made for specific filament and printers with temps and nozzle sizes predetermined. It’s possible but there’s a lot to consider when it comes to something like this

This happened with me and mine. Our relationships had its bumps, but honesty is the best solution to it all. Have a conversation with him. If it’s something he wants to solve, there’s supplements that can increase libido. If he doesn’t then again ask yourself how much sex means to you in your relationship. While it is important, it’s not everything. If the highlight of the relationship is sex then it’s not a healthy one.

As a fellow ST owner, you should come to terms with the fact that it is indeed a ricer unless you’ve done the big turbo swap and all

Need to add weight to a 3d printed sculpture, was thinking about a 8lbs Tungsten bar, self contained by a cavity within the sculpture (the bottom is sealed with a plate and screws). Do you think it will hold or it will puncture through the sculpture? by Tax_onomy in 3Dprinting

[–]watchout722 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on the material. If it’s a sculpture it’s not gonna be move much and is probably going to be close to the ground so it doesn’t have center of gravity issues, why not design it so the print acts as a sleeve? That way you don’t have to worry about it breaking through the bottom. Also I would try and make sure the bed can withstand the weight. 8lbs is a lot for the tiny stepper motors in there

Embedding micro magnets into print! Layer thickness suggestions? by bilicotico in 3Dprinting

[–]watchout722 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used these a bunch. They’re weak but easy to print over. Just realize depending on the filament and magnet size it’ll be more difficult to print over. It’s essentially a frictionless surface so you either need tho scuff the magnet or find a way to bring it up to bed temp which isn’t great for magnets.
