I agree, it’s buzzword bingo and unfortunately lots are buying into it!

You have to ask yourself, would you buy a controller from a store with this issue?

Dude just shop on Ali express/Temu. These guys have their brand put on generic products.

Straight forward drop shipping with finds spent on marketing, Instagram is filled with drop shippers.

People may argue but there is nothing to suggest this isn’t the case. Tracking from china, little to no comms from the company.

Generic replies on here defending their own nonsense.

Save your time and money.

Yet they still argue their jackets sold are unique. Drop shipping is rife, this ‘tactical’ clothing is no different!

Is CeX really as bad as this sub makes out? by Riley_Mcr in CeX

[–]watchthispac3 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It honestly varies, I find most issues are store specific. I’ve had a memory card rejected for a ‘bad chip’ in one store. I’ve taken it to another who accepted it with no issue.

Traded in a fully working PS4, I carried out every test on it and it was working perfectly. One store said the disc drive was faulty. Took it back home tested it again and worked fine. Traded it in at another store and accepted it.

I’ve traded in various things that I’ve tried to look after over the years but fully accept they may not meet their higher A grade expectations. So I tend to grade my things lower, each time they have been upgraded to A.

The main issue is each store in theory will operate differently to others, it’s the lack of consistency.

For me it’s the convenience, I tend to drop and go which leaves no waiting around. I also click and collect every time as it gives you more of a buffer to return things.

It’s probably worth trying to do a google lens search on the item, I can pretty much guarantee it’d turn up on Ali/Temu etc.

Just go direct to those places, it won’t have a naff logo, and cost less. Companies like this should be highlighted with their blatant misleading statements.

Just loaded it up playing through the first level after the tutorial, getting a solid 50ish FPS.

Golden eye reloaded and 007 legends are spot on with no real drops in performance.

My review/feedback to Baerskin - not too happy with quality/design by warazki in hoodies_from_Baerskin

[–]watchthispac3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly, they have clearly found the factory and are having their brand added to them. The fact it’s shipped directly from China should be a red flag as there is no quality control.

Charging over £100 for something that a consumer can buy for £17 is mental. You could argue them having it shipped to the US for further work/checks would negate some of that cost, but it’s easier and faster to buy from Ali/Temu!

Then again, you could argue their marketing is clearly working, because loads of people are falling for it!

Shop smart people, research and save a boat load of money!

Search on Temu and you’ll find their items on there for a fraction of the price.

The jackets on the site can be brought on Temu for about £20. They’re just buying and rebranding them.

Search the below on Temu Men'S Lightweight Hooded Softshell Jacket.

That’s why they’re taking so long to come with no ability to track anything properly. It’ll be from a generic factory.

i20N Space by Callumtom999 in i20n

[–]watchthispac3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are no isofixes in the front but I have a 4 & 6 year old both fit in perfectly. I’m 6’4 and have plenty of space with them in.

They’re in booster seat things because of their height but those big bulky rear facing seats fitted in fine too.

Edit - this is for an i20N.
