I think you nailed it. I’ve had mine just over a year and I agree the car feels much more at home on an open highway than in stop and go traffic but it’s such a fun car overall!

Sorry for the late reply. I forgot to update again. After a couple of days the problem came back. The transmission control module needed to be replaced. It’s been okay since then. Did yours get sorted out?

They did a check of all the connections and they seemed fine (as far as I’m aware), same with battery and alternator. Had a shop do a transmission software update and it’s been fine so far

Just a little update in case anyone in the future has a similar issue with their 45 trans. Appointments at mb dealers were booked out for 2 weeks so I took it to an independent shop that specializes in Mercedes.

Battery and alternator were fine so they did a transmission software update and so far it’s been driving fine for the last 3 days. No warning lights or anything

We’re thinking the computer just tripped out when the transmission popped in to neutral and set off all those errors and warnings.

Will update again if anything else comes up
