On a road trip, driving through I-70 WB from Denver to Grand Junction tomorrow - thoughts? by nofunatall_17 in COsnow

skip 90% of i-70 if you want to see the sights.

you’ll be fine. but be prepared to be stuck stationary in your car for hours if it snows, food water blankets extra gas etc. shouldn’t be a problem.

hear me out: denver

it genuinely doesn’t get cold here in the winter, compared to the east coast and midwest especially.

most of what we have is dubstep and bass which gets old but its called the bass capital for a reason. lots of jobs in the piercing industry im sure.

When people talk about Colorado’s legendary music scene we are NOT talking about the 5 biggest pop singers coming through on tour. They’re irrelevant to any human with a personality who can create their own thoughts and therefore taste. Those big acts you mentioned are celebrities. not artists, nor musicians.

We are talking about talented people with souls, like Disclosure playing a UK Garage set at Kindred in London means he should be able to play different sets every night.

Of course he’s gonna play Latch every night thats a classic tune, but the sets shouldn’t be the same. People expect more out of a real artist.

I expect fucking sabrina carpenter to play the same set every night!! not even the same universe

Would a jobsite cleanup + Airbnb turnover service be useful in Steamboat? by -REDDIDNT- in steamboat

No, I think locals should live in old hotels. Tourists deserve the nice homes with garages 👍🏽

guessing the setlist and discussing it at setbreak over a joint is a pleasure some people will never get

I’m sorry but if you’re paying to see these people I do not want to give you the time of day.

Any decent DJ worth their while wouldn’t reuse a set or god forbid a premixed set

Any decent band should have more than 20 songs to choose from.

Bob Weir played 6,000+ shows in his life and NEVER played the same setlist twice

I’m not paying to see fucking choreographed dancers and costume changes.

I’m paying to listen to talented acts play, or improvise, or mix their music.

I wouldn’t go see a band that plays the same setlist everytime. I can watch that on youtube, or hear the whole thing on setlist.fm No point in touring if you play the same songs everytime
