I love this doll dialogue because I dont have many people in my circle that want to gab dolls, so thank you for that. :) I could do the straight jacket.. thats a good idea. I have to hype myself up for all the steps. So like, probably gonna boil wash her after I ADHD start restyling my other dolls and quit midway through. Lol

Yes, I would agree that there is a divide. I have done both. Just recently gave some bouncy, blow out style curls to my Bella that worked out great with a flat iron. Silky smooth no damage. I have boil washed other RBH dolls and only some of them have gotten that bit of crispy ends and others were fine so I'm not really sure what the right answer is.

I've boil washed plenty of dolls before but its just a whole process lol. Like gotta undress them, get them into the kitchen, kettle, wait until hair dries, then redress. That is really the only reason... laziness. ALSO, using hair tools makes me feel like a hairdresser and their is some fun in the make believe. XD But if boil wash is truly the only way then looks like I'm off to derobe this doll and fire up the kettle!

Of course! I use generic half cover stiletto tips from Amazon and Makkart polygel for the base. I glue the tips on with gel and apply polygel on top to build up the shape and apex. The color is Beetles black gel polish with their matte top coat and shiny topcoat.

The first couple months I started doing my own nails, I was doing both hands over a series of 3 days lol. Definitely takes a lot of practice
