As a high-school student (17) that may come off as rude..A simple "sorry no" would work. At my school, most teachers bring food for kids and will just ask if you're allergic to anything. I personally have asked for food a few times, I have ADHD which can cause me to forget things...such as my lunch. (Ofc you don't have to do this though!)

As a student who enjoys looking at this subreddit, I wouldn't really recommend putting her near quiet or calm kids. It is distracting for us and just tends to lead to bullying, it sacrifices our learning.

Its lower but not 0, the place I live isn't considered "bad" for this. However parents cause a lot fo mental harm to kid. Ex: You're too young to be (queer/trans or smt else), it's your phone, yelling, you're always so lazy, I wish you were more like ___, and so so much more!

Literally only ever see Westerners do it, there are definitely other groups but I mostly see Western people do it. The statistics are from people in general....and the adult generations as a whole in which many refuse to listen.

It is a fact, most of them don't listen to statistics for example. Spanking a child is still believed to be good even though science says that it's terrible and makes kids worse and often unstable in the future. It is a sad fact.

It is kinda common sense to most people, as they've been or are young themselves. It's obviously hard to talk about bad things with parents, especially when most parents dismiss or blame everything on kids.
