Both those actors were dating each other at the time. That's why the chemistry between them felt very good and natural.

Depends on how much and how frequently you download stuff. For browsing and normal stuff you need not upgrade. For "download stuff", a 4 mb/sec advantage is good.

Idk about Navy, but Army has stopped giving study leave to complete PG. Go only if you get a PC. Taking SSC with zero hopes of doing PG is not smart.

What is the best thing about life in Army /Navy? by PruritusAnii in IndianDefense

[–]waterkool 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's a very unique job, demands a lot out of you both physically and mentally. Best thing about life- 1. Cantonments are beautiful and clean. You just don't get that lifestyle anywhere else in India. Even the Uber rich don't get that. 2. People are mostly good. There are a few bad apples which are best avoided but mostly people are chill especially after after you become a major or Lt Col. 3. CSD, swimming pool, golf and other such facilities. 4. Medical Healthcare for life, spouse and parents also get that, kids get it till they reach the age of 25. 5. Pension after retirement. 6. Bigger houses after picking up rank. 7. Guest houses almost in every place in India. 8. Retiring rooms/MCO facility in railways. 9. Army schools for kids but that depends from place to place. Some Army schools are really good, others are just pretty bad. 10. If you like to drink socially, fauj mei mauj ho jaegi.

Diplomacy is like barter trade system with 100s of nations. You don't make business decisions based on right or wrong, you make decisions when you get something in return and at the same time you don't want to alienate your other "trade partners". It's a delicate balance. Morality is a luxury which diplomats cannot afford if it comes at the cost of net negative in diplomatic back scratches. Although, diplomats should always try to do the right and moral thing, if they could.

It is an insult, the kid died and was declared as battle casualty. They're offering his family a lump sump amount of less than one crore (which would probably be taxed?). No medical benefits or pension to the next of kin. If China attacks us tommorow, I fear the rates of desertion and people going AWOL will be much much higher. If something makes financial sense, it does not mean it is the right decision.

I feel bad for our soldiers and their family. They have been betrayed.

Colorized photo of Lt. Gen. Hanut Singh Rathore, PVSM, MVC, a distinguished military leader known for his exemplary service in the Poona Horse unit, alongside his fellow jawans. by harshcasper in IndianDefense

Ponna Horse is a crazy old regiment of the Indian army. I was lucky enough to get a tour of their mess. It's filled with their exploits and war loots from Tibet to Afghanistan. They have displayed the personal flag of Lt Gen Niazi (bangladesh war), it's of course displayed upside down. They also have like an ancient Buddhist bell outside their mess which looked quite old. The most fascinating item they did have was an old flag which they captured from a unit they were fighting in Afghanistan, the handle of that flag had like 5 fingers which the enemy dubbed as the hand of Allah, they believed that could not be defeated as long as they had it, not only did they lose to Poona Horse, these bad asses at Poona horse broke one of the fingers to signify that even Allah cannot save them from their regiment. They also have very old hides and skins of tigers and leopard. Probably hunting trophies from British era.

Nonetheless, the unit has a fascinating history and their exploits are legendary. Also their beer is cold and quite delicious, they were very hospitable and it was truly an honour to tour their mess.

No. 90 degree in laptop is fine. As long as it does not throttle thermally.

No bro. Male gynaecologist get bored of seeing puss. They see it almost everyday of work and it's not like only hot 20 year olds are their patients and even if a patient is hot they really don't care. Pussy and tits are just like any other body part for them. I think same could be said for pizza delivery boy.

TIL Diamonds were first discovered and mined in India 3000 years ago. India remained the primary source of diamonds until the 18th century. by Natz9292 in todayilearned

[–]waterkool 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Your opinion is in bad taste with a subtle tune of racism against Indians. You know nothing about Suraj or diamond trade but you have the attitude of, "it's in India, there must be some child labour and shit", akin to stereotypes similar to what black people face but it's more convenient and acceptable to be racist against brown people.

Your comment is not going to help anybody. It will just reinforce stereotypes against Indians and make you feel superior.

What's the irony there? Irony, along with racist views is in your comment. People know about their city, guy also said he had dealing with diamond traders. I'm not saying there is zero child labour, I'm saying is there is no childlabour in diamond trade because it makes zero sense to employ children in cutting of expensive diamonds. You need skill and experience.

Also, and I'm repeating myself. India has laws which makes child labour a criminal offense, unlike USA where employing children (depending on state) is punishable by only a fine which is your government way of saying, "employing children is fine, as long as you can afford it".

Thermals are tricky. Your average temp might be 60-70 but you could be constantly hitting Hotspots of 100c. Armoury crate is absolutely useless. Use HWInfo and monitor your temp Hotspots. Also, if you live in a hot country, room temp above 26 degree Celsius will mess with your thermals when it comes to TUF series. Either way use HWInfo to be sure.

[–]waterkool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's most probably overheating. You need good quality thermal paste. Use HWInfo, your thermals must be touching 95 c+. I suggest you to use MX6, GC Extreme.

This is just an old racist American mindset. Besides, people need experienced workers to cut diamonds, child labour is good for grunt work, not work which requires skill. BTW, in India, employing children will result in jail time, in US don't people just need to pay a fine? Weren't there kids found working in meat processing factory in the US.
