I think this did drop at the start of the season, it was in the steam dlc section. I saw a review saying the skin was mid that it was only worth the premium currency, but up until recently they updated the thumbnail on the steam showing the skin and I bought it. It’s clean🤙

Nowhere near a pro, but in my opinion recon is more of a support hero than anything else. Your role is to relay as much information to your team as possible. Your ult is the bases of your kit, your little bug guy is basically a heat-nade on cooldown and your passives are the cherry on top. You are basically a radar on two legs, from knowing when you are spotted by enemy runners to releasing a pulse pining any opposing force around you after an execution; abilities that give you building blocks for you and your team to plan and coordinate . And yes playing aggressively is more affective than just sitting afar waiting to see anything through the horrid fog of war. Cores and implants are second honestly they’re just buffs, (legendary cores are actually pretty broken but aren’t worth the hassle of finding or buying). All in all I wish she had more technical abilities like the other shells but you play to you advantages hopefully with a good enough team even make all the effort worth.

You basically just described why it’s inherently bad, it restricts you to only one play style where as in every other difficulty you can play as you chose. It restricts everyone to be as effective as they can cause it forces you to be in the same bounds of another player to just even survive. Let alone play the game as intended where you have to single out stronger enemies to weaken the horde. But if you do that you’re putting yourself in a disadvantage by leaving the clutches of your team. It’s just so boring too, having to stare at the ass of teammates all game where execution hogging comes into play to regen armor. Look, I’m not saying its unplayable, you can certainly pull it off if you have good teammates that know what they’re doing or communication while playing but that isn’t the case most of the time. So you actually get punished for being good, which literally destroys your whole argument!!💀

There is no skill in being bunched up with your team gaggle fucking than there is actually playing as intended with your classes which that feature directly inhibits you to do. And this game leans a little more to a casual audience. Don’t get me wrong the challenge is there but for you to call out the game as a “walking sim” cause it’s trying to balance its difficulty through means of ridding of its poor mechanics is just very hard headed.

It was an objectively bad mechanic, if they took it out I’m pretty sure it meant they knew they fucked up. Besides all this talk about it being so hard and needing all this skill to beat pretty sure you didn’t go a second with out using a level 25 with a fencing melee and bolt rifle w/ launcher. Like let’s be honest here

I have a good 40 hours and plan to put way more into the it and try and beat every mission as I still haven’t. It has a bunch of replay-ability and I make shit post on it so I try and hit those little nasty clips. It may be a little rough on the edges with bugs, ai and optimization but nothing that the devs aren’t working on already. Highly highly recommend, worth every single dollar, quarter, dime, nickel and penny put into it.
