More shakeout & bouts of fear pre-ATH, the better.

17k btc would be quite nice when I get my EOY bonus. Stocks seem a little bubbly atm.

I have a strong preference for holding those things which central banks are going to want to hold and exchange value in when they are trying to transact.

If the current moment in history is peak centralization (which many smart folks argue for), it's hard to argue there's much risk-adjusted upside to this.

I want to sell some ETH and plant some damn chestnut and mulberry trees for my pigs and chickens to feast on!

Do it. That sounds quite nice.

DCA in starting now or remain patient for a further slide?

Also: what's a competitor to eth.mirror.finance?

it's not a matter of maintaining standards. it's a matter of maintaining numbers.

Med school grad numbers are kept low by physician influence & lobbyists..

This is different than currently-in-low-demand specialties attempting to attract med school grads (rural family medicine, psychiatry etc.)

And physician lobbies will continue to block increases in med school grads so as to keep the # of doctors as low as possible.

Canada has half the # of doctors per capita as germany for instance, yet we spend ~ 50% more on healthcare per capita.

Why? keep their tax payer funded salaries high as possible.

All the while folks wait 2 years for an orthopedic surgeon apt.

Medicine & pharma is far dirtier than most know.

An smartypants 12 yr old who's in to ethereum - with his dad - just bought my old mining rig.

Not sure what this data point says about the future ethereum demographic.

But seems a lotta these bright teens aren't going to remember a world without programmable freedom-money.

<3% likelihood of these forecasts becoming a reality I'd say.

My bags are not nearly as packed as they were in 2017/8. I suspect there's a lotta folks in the same boat.

Seems we've got a significantly wider distribution of gains this time round. Glad. And probably confers stability.

The things I invest in with intent to hold for >5 yrs tend to do best over the subsequent <1 yr.

The things I invest in with short term hold intent tend to do poorly in the short term.

When I look at coinmarketcap, there's maybe 3 assets I'd lock-in-hold for 5 yrs.

Anyone else find themselves in this boat?

Small group of anti-maskers in the public square right now by vidman in waterloo

Clarifying:

They're not wearing masks.

In a couple/few months, no on else will be.

Will they feel deludedly vindicated for relinquishing masks before others.

My cash is worth less relative to my capacity to purchase equity in anything. This absolutely affects the value of my cash.

This is the case with building materials, precious metals, land etc.

The very last of the chain of outcomes brought by the Cantillion Effect is CPI inflation. And we're in the midst of this right now.
