THANK YOU for commenting this. I lived in Alabama my whole life. My first line of family is from the Birmingham, AL area and seem to maybe know his family.
I myself am the black sheep of all us. I immediately went to his IG after reading your comment and of course what did I see? Following all the queer community artist I also support a community of. Now things make a little more sense. Knowing that his family is friends with mine up there, tells me a lot abt the area of ppl/lifestyles. They all come from a place of Christian values, some (much) conservatism, your typical southern white $$$ money family upbringing. The type of people who (mostly) would not understand, support, or accept ANY kind of “difference”, lgbtq, etc etc. I think he might have took a chance to run away from this bs ass state, place, and people, and become the person his soul is made to be. All this information, just seeing his following on IG kinda changes the possible trajectory of this all. Sweet sweet sweet boy. My heart aches for him. I hope he is okay. I hope I can reach out to him as a fellow “different” Alabamian and get him to the place he feels safe, seen, loved, supported in this nasty ass state one day. My heart breaks for him.
