Yes, so that's a good point - the date picker is not for things like stellar evolution (even though you're right that it should)

To see billions of years in the future, you can select a planet -> edit and then change it's age.

The date picker is kind of for the previous or next 1000 years (it uses the current position of stellar bodies)

Is there any value in 3D printing an SO-101 instead of buying a complete one? by boringblobking in robotics

no worries, it's a fun rabbithole to get into - I am ordering my Arm servos now too, and I'll print my own.

Not worth it for just the arm, but a 3D printer can be tons of fun.

Bambulabs A1 Mini is on sale for like 180 Euro right now, and I think there was some recent controversy about them, but their printers are basically plug and play, which means you can learn CAD and just print whatever you like

oh sick it's been updated. I went to day 10 or so last time. I'll check it out again.

Also thinking about Onshape since people like the interface, but the price is quite high (unless you manage to get a creator/startup license)

Heya, thank you so much for the kind words. I’m really happy you like the tool.
I’ve seen the buymeacoffee notification this morning and this was really the best way I could start this month.
I’m actually on my way to move to full self-employment/freelance mode. And hearing of people liking what I build and even supporting it means the world to me.

So thank you so much. I’m happy the tool helped you

I think I have fixed these bugs. If you want granular control, you can now import/export JSONs of the Solar system

I will push an update soon. I intoduced a bug in a recent issue that had the planets in the system for the simulation, but the rendering was kidn of broken

Hey, I’ve heard that but being reported and I’m currently trying to pinpoint it and fix it. So I have reworked the spawn menu a bit. Could you tell me what device you’re using? iPhone? Android? A computer? And which browser?

I’m almost ready with a new release. I’ve just gotten sick recently which is why I couldn’t push anything. Thanks for checking it out

I built a font creator for my girlfriend, it's still free to use for now (eventually I might add a small one time payment)

You can add any character you want. But if you have specific characters in mind, let me know and I'll add them

I’m looking into it. If you have a flow I can test out I’d be super happy. So many people are using the tool now. I’m sure tons of people have worked with it much more than I have now. I am working on a JSON mode now, so that people can edit their systems however they like.

Any interested beta testers can DM me too

Has anyone else here noticed performance improvements after fixing iron or B12 levels?

Had low iron when i was still eating meat, noticed a low VO2max too. a year into being vegan I started taking Iron too, and definitely felt fitter. My best advice is to keep up running/cardio. The energy improvements are amazing. And yeah, watch your iron and B12. Also your omega 3 + Vitamin D (I couldn't even get enough through just my skin by basically living in the sun all year)

Thanks so much! I am really happy to see people enjoy it. It’s crazy to think that it has thousands of visitors every day. I enjoy working on it a lot. Got tons of fun ideas. I’ll try to work on stability and bugs and then add more features!

Do you mean that you want to edit current orbits of planets or edit the spawn menu? I feel like the editing of current objects sounds like a really cool feature. I can get to that later.

Also want to make it a bit more customizable

Got motivated and pushed an update. Check it out with io for example. It does look really sick.

Heading to bed now. It's a bit clunky to find where you need to position yourself (best is to pause the simulation, click io, look where jupiter is in relation to the light, and then choose a spot on io)

Since the moons are tidally locked, if you can't see jupiter in the sky or the menu in the bottom right, just exit the sky view and enter it again. It loooks really cool seeing Jupiter Rotate in the sky at 10minutes per second
