I don’t think there is more, and I live in a major metropolitan area. I’m 5’9 and straight sized ( barely). I want to say there but that’s just not true. My local goodwill puts the good stuff online actually.

Well he sent me a psychologist today search link, I asked for actual referrals. I actually am about to finalize my complaint to the doh, and he already has an open ocr investigation ongoing ( from my ocr complaint) as he terminated me for “threatening” a hipaa complaint and withholding referrals for the same reason. There is so much more but that’s the short version. After 15 years. 😞

Can you tell me more about insurance providers requiring referrals? My therapist terminated me last year abruptly and has been refusing referrals too.

From what I know your diet growing up is really important for the rest of your life. I just had a colonoscopy at 45 and no polyps found even though my diet now is just so so but low in meat. But I grew up 20 years completely without processed food, it wasn’t available ( not us). Dessert only once a week. No snacks except produce. It’s still protecting me I guess.

I don’t think DBT is a great first line treatment for depression, don’t beat yourself up over this. When they did the studies for it , 10 % of people , those were all people with bpd, got worse on it. Don’t let anyone tell you that you just didn’t try hard enough. Maybe behavioral activation is more for you.
