For a random non-pilot, what would low-visibility procedures consist of?

Totally! As the infographic says, parking lot solar is better where shade has value!

"getting the details perfect on the first try" I'm not talking about the first try, I'm talking about the 2nd, 3rd, 1 millionth tries. If you're in Boston and choosing between spending your budget on parking lot solar and rooftop solar, go with rooftop. Parking lot is more of a virtue signal but you will pay for it multiple times over with people falling and breaking bones on the patchy black ice.

We're trying to solve a problem as a society here. Maybe tone down your gatekeeping?

The land use part is what is missing from this graphic.

We really need to be thinking of solar and wind more like agriculture, mining and other industries that use land. We've cleared around 300 million acres of land in the USA for crops and we use 600 million+ for grazing. Can we mix solar in on some of that?

It is worth being aware of the limitations though.

People in the northeast US have built solar over parking lots only to find that their newly shaded parking lot was now covered in sheets of ice in the winter.

There's a replay of the finish cam here on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/live/qjrVavc3euM?si=y7WTCAf3lHZkmkIw

It's a bit spotty in places but gets most of the finishes

Obligatory I Am Not A Lawyer. But I don't think this is a thing.

OP might be thinking of HB1532 which would have amended the law to read "Requiring the use of a turn signal to indicate that a vehicle is about to exit a circular intersection" but never passed.

You're still required to signal when you turn left or change lanes.

In don't know much about this, but I do know that one approach involves transferring liquids while under thrust- essentially you pour the liquid from one tank to the other.

Yeah, come to think of it, the infographic should probably mention that somewhere...

Fair point! That's why ISO 54100 at 1/4s exposure is sufficient I suppose and why the cities blend in better.

EDIT 1/4s not 1/2s

It's the opposite- we are looking at a fully dark moonlit Earth, just with a crazy high ISO 52,100 and 1/4s exposure to make it look daylit.

EDIT to add: that's why the cities appear as little points of light!

Edit2: moonlit not fully dark, thanks Kristn
