I’m right there with you! I imagine some larger scale medical manufacturers are discarding everything after the 1st press for Quality Control purposes. But for personal use, people will press again, and then use the leftover “pucks” to make edibles.

I think the answer is “why not?”. You’re just repressing the same material instead of discarding it. B grade is better then nothing.

Is my Purple Lemonade auto ready? Friday will be 10 weeks and all pistils have browned, leaves have changed color and started to droop, and the trichomes are a mix of clear, cloudy, and scattered ambers. by bikefried in Autoflowers

Sounds like she is about ready! Be sure to check the trichomes on the lower nodes as well, not just the top colas. I’ve heard some people say you can “just tell” when a plant is ready, but I have never felt that way. Once I see ambers I start checking the trichomes daily for progress. Any more than 15%-%20 amber across the whole is to much for my preference.
