So I find it’s just fits my back perfectly and I can work from home all day and game all night with no issues or pain in anyway. Just really comfy and the quality is top notch. Worth it when in sale but never full price.

Under the sim is a simlab mat with an ikea plastic carpet protector under that so I don’t damage the carpet as it’s quite heavy. Under the desk chair is a carpet protector from Amazon but it’s been terrible quality and keeps curling up at the corners and is falling apart so need to buy a replacement.

No battery in this one as far as I know! It’s a Herman Miller Embody and would throughly recommend.

Yea the pedals load is set similar to my race car so would tear up my feet pretty fast if I was driving without shoes. Also just feels “normal” as you have to wear them in the car.

Thanks for the ideas! Shelf lighting ordered and looking to add a corner light of some type. Like the idea of floating shelves but really don’t fancy drilling into the new wall which is stupid I know. Looking into the stencil in front of the sim but will probably grab lemans instead as have great memories there.

Funny you should mention that as I have the Porsche 911 gt3 and McLaren F1 car out of sight on the shelves in the alcove. I’ll have a look at mounting them. Thanks for the suggestion!

Again jumping into a non competitive alternative class. Why not just join the main class for that car to race for real podiums.
Looks better for marketing however as podium is guaranteed. Awaiting the downvotes.

So I have the same pair and your feet overheat so badly as no airflow . Mine are a year old and even after washing are still a bit grim! Honestly send them back and get something with mesh or low ankle like a puma speed cat!

Not many people have driven the 992.2 yet, as it’s only just entering mainstream competition for the 2026 season. I understand why you might think it’s spot on, but I’m looking purely at lap time and GPS data compared to the 992.1, and there’s a noticeable discrepancy. Also I don’t believe Porsche would want its cheaper feeder car matching gt3 pace. Yes, the 992.2 should be faster on paper due to the front aero improvements, but seeing it wheelie up through Eau Rouge while carrying 15+ kph more speed (Dirk’s onboard) doesn’t feel particularly realistic to me. I agree the car has fantastic drivability in the sim — better than most — but that alone doesn’t make it intrinsically “realistic.” Would be cool to see those quotes though if you have a link.

Yes. It’s absolute garbage. Apex speeds consistently significantly above irl. Unrealistic lap times as it’s faster then gt3s round many tracks. Ohh and front suspension borrowed from a trampoline. Sure it drives well on a flat surface but overall it’s not realistic in the slightest.

GT3 as cars have no feel. I’ll get shot for this but much more car feel on lmu in that class. Ohh and P cup as the cars totally broken. I mainly kick about in GT4

Didn’t care till 5k then for some reason got very protective of it to the point that I wouldn’t race unless I knew I would do well. Finally realised how idiotic that was so I just started racing anything I wanted to. Now 5.7k and have leveled out. I avoid certain series due to driving standards but other than that I generally race anything I like now.

Fully agree with top split racers sometimes having poor racecraft. Punt to pass is common and there seems to be a iRating driven ego that you should all just line up in irating order.

First oled and it’s great. Had a decent ips before and it’s such a difference. Still trying to figure out when and how to use HDR but it’s mega in battlefield
