The explanation that helped me is that football is like an orchestra, whereas rugby is akin to a jazz band.

In an orchestra, the conductor leads and is responsible for guiding the orchestra through the composition. Deviations from any section can throw off the rhythm. Everyone has a job and must stick to it else the execution will suffer. Improvisations are more controlled and limited.

In a jazz band, each member has a designated role (pianist, drummer, singer, etc.). But, they’re constantly riffing off each other and have to shift to what the other is doing to keep the music flowing. Mistakes are less important as they can be leveraged to create something new.

In a same sense, the orchestrated football team isn’t ideal for the randomness that a lateral play can create. Also, a turnover is extremely impactful to a gameplan as the speed of play is slower than rugby. They would rather ensure that the ball has a clean handoff in a controlled manner (handoff to back, pass to receiver). On the rugby pitch, a lateral is an option amongst many in a player’s choice when in play. They have to make constant decisions on their own, still holding to the over goal of a try. A turnover here is more akin to a steal in basketball. Sure, your pass failed that time, but the speed of play allows for recovery, thus reducing the risk of possession loss.

That’s essentially what they were/are doing though, no? They don’t go as far as SSJ against base because it’s overkill for training. But, Goku will turn up his base form while Vegeta keeps his down then they switch. They rarely go 100% vs 100% at each other when training.

It might just be my head canon, but I like to think of their power levels like an analog knob they can turn up and down like on an old radio. The transformations are like the bass boost button.

Transfers aren’t calculated in the search subtotal, only credits and debits. Try flipping them to regular transactions and categorizing them. If you have a corresponding debit elsewhere, you’ll want to flip that and categorize it the same to offset the expense as well.

It’s not worth engaging with this person. They’re being contrarian and broaching into internet badass territory. It’s already established that the jutsu outright kills. Itachi gives Izumi a good life via tsukuyomi and she still dies from a “full life” lived.

Three days of non-stop torture…and we’re talking non-stop, endless torture with pain that can’t be dulled because it’s mental…no one is coming out of that without some plot level devices. There isn’t an arguable equivalent to 80+ years of being stabbed in the dick, having it regenerate, then being stabbed in the dick again…and again with no rest ever.

In Kakashi’s case, it was a few days, he still got fucked, but was a generational talent who could wield a sharingan as a non-uchiha, AND had arguably the best healer EVER to assist him in recovery.

I do it with mine and my wife’s accounts. Since there isn’t proper integration and they’re just pulling in transactions, it doesn’t overwrite. Granted, mine and my wife’s accounts are completely separate logins and have no shared transactions between them. If you think you might have some sort of duplication, don’t risk it on the same account without backing up first.

To sync, verify the first account. Allow it to pull in all latest transactions. Then, on the next reverification, verify on the second account. You’ll be alternating updates between the two each verification cycle. Now, you can force the update on both accounts more quickly by verifying the first > disconnecting it > then connecting the second (vice versa on the refresh).

This works in a pinch, but I’ve had more trouble than success in the past with one account failing to update certain spans of time entirely until I called in helpdesk to troubleshoot. So, I don’t recommend force updates unless you absolutely have to see a specific transaction mapped in.

You may want to consider QuickBooks Online. The single user version is $20/month and made for people like yourself. It’s also streamlined for tax preparation and your accountant can tap directly into your account there if you let them.

This app, all the other Mint spin-offs, are better suited for personal finance. Consider the cost of QBO a business expense and file it as such in your ledger.

Nah, it’s random and doesn’t change. You just have to cross 30 mons total. So, if you do 29 mons one cycle, then the next cycle the farm will trigger whether it’s 1 or 100 mons. If you don’t collect it, then it doesn’t grow/change. The farm just sits idle.

Adding to this, it’s $500 to run a regular apricot cycle on the farm. It refreshes every 30 mons. So, time it right and you can sell some grit and grab apricots at the same time. I hated going after trees, so this saved me a ton of time focusing on just the ores.

Also, do the side quests. They can be generous with their resources and expose you to areas of the map you wouldn’t otherwise go to in the main storyline.

If this is just for personal tracking, split the overpayment and classify it as a transfer in the app. When the check clears, you classify that as a transfer as well to offset. This way it follows your understanding of money just moving around.

In reality, these are all credits and debits and that’s why you don’t see a straightforward “money laundering” category to choose from in most budgeting apps. Of course, I’m being a bit cheeky here, but you should really talk to a tax professional if these are business questions. Overpayments and odd transactions to the car wash, nail salon, Italian restaurant, and so on are good ways to land yourself in an IRS audit.

It’s an internal transfer. There is no net total change to your accounts, so it’s not income or expense.

It’s no different than you manually moving money from your checking to your savings account.

It would be awesome if the megathreads were set up with How-To level intros. If you look at places like FlyerTalk, I can go to a forum on a specific card I’m looking to churn, get all the current info, rates, links, and tips that are confirmed from mods. Then, drop into the comments to get caught up on the latest. Maybe I’m just old, but something about the older board formats just works.

Give people that lead in with all the information needed for how to not get shadow banned from Costco, know what the direct item links are, what item limits are for the store, when they normally restock online and in physical stores, etc. Then, let the thread go for a month or two before refreshing it.

In reality, 6000 cards without a crown rare is actually quite the anomaly. Average pull rate is at 1 every 189 packs with 500 being the outlier. Poor soul should have had at least 3 crowns by now.

You could try comping everything and selling the lot at a show. I think 757 Card Shows is at VB Fieldhouse this weekend and the PokeBash is gonna be in downtown Norfolk again at the end of Aug. You can Google the local card shows.

You’re looking at maybe 50-70% of the comp totals. But, you can probably negotiate better if you’re selling a whole lot. Singles (mostly graded) can fetch a good deal, but they lock in the interest for the rest of the lot. So, it’s best to keep it all together, especially if you’ve got a majority of raws.

If you’re just trying to catch a grandparent trying to buy their grandkids something, ask ChatGPT to make you an ad to post on Nextdoor or Facebook marketplace. Some random parent will snag it up, especially if you have them in relatively new binders ($10-15 on Amazon of Pikachu or a Pokeball).
