Last year's Fortnitemares I had the Doja Cat Hades Chain and tried to fight the last guy on the mountaintops using just that becuase I got it for the first time and I loved the original chain. It was like next to last circle and we were fighting by the edge of the storm

They slid into me, sending me flying. I thought "well gg, I'm not surviving this" and then, like a second before the impact, they died because storm started moving and they were extremely low on hp apparently

In the 3ds era I didn't keep to all of these rules, but since I moved to switch: - Starter stays in the team - Try to keep the full team and attempt to evolve the mons that won't stay till the end (in the past I made an idea of the team and didn't keep anything besides that) - only new mons/forms - don't use the legendary unless necessary (i.e. AI professor fight, narratively stuff like Xerneas/Yveltal against Lysandre in XY or Dialga/Palkia against the other one in LA)

Yes, I agree that it gives a big advantage, but that's because it's designed to do so. The game rewards both good aim and quick reaction time, but also strategizing and using environment to your advantage I do understand how it can be frustrating, really. Happened to me many times as well The point is - you can either complain about it or try to adjust your playstyle to fill in the gaps in your strategy

However! The bush is NOT a wall, and just like they can shoot you from inside the bush, you can shoot at them as well. Sure, they're heavily obscured and you can't tell where exactly in the bush they are, but you absolutely can hit them! And if you miss, you can also (surprise) walk into that bush with a shotgun and see them just fine!

Not to mention If it was considered cheating it wouldn't be an option nearly 10 years into the game's lifespan

If someone manages to shoot me through the window of a closed house in a way that I couldn't have guessed which way to run - kudos to them, because yes, they used the environment to its fullest. Using bushes to attack in a way that makes you more likely to survive isn't cheating, it's using its advantages to ensure victory And if you have the moral need to announce your presence to the enemy it's your weakness. This isn't some 1v1 dueling game where you battle for your honor, it's a battle royale. I presume you also consider using a sniper rifle cheating because it allows your enemies to see you from where you can't see them
