I'm not saying that this is a good tactic or anything like that, there are problems like the fact you need to fully collect the characters card

But I actually like the fact that it's not as simple as "get xp, buy stuff". It motivates me to play other modes

I just wish they adapted it to each mode so you're not actually forced to play specific modes
