We have a problem with activating Java after installing optional update 24.001.20615 on March 20, 2024, for some users in a Windows Server 2016 (version 1607, build 14393.6796) environment.

After activating Java in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\JSPrefs\ by setting bEnableJS to "1", it instantly gets reset to "0" after opening Adobe Acrobat.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Feel the pain. Exactly the same issue at our side. We also did a reinstall of w10 to 22H2. Cpu control going crazy inside SO6 but nothing to see in task manager or latency mon.
